Jennie said softly, “Nancy, since they insisted on signing you, don’t worry about my feelings. I will find some other way to leave Supreme Entertainment.”

Nancy could not help finding the sight of Jennie telling her to take the deal with Golden Domain Entertainment silly. In any case, she was tempted to take their deal.

At 2:00 am in the morning.

The lights at Benevolent Hospital remained brightly lit as usual.

Old Master Kim’s room was usually dark at this hour, but the lights were still on. Since he had lost his sight, he no longer needed light and it was only used by the medical staff.

Almost everyone in the family had hurried over after he suddenly suffered a relapse.

The light at the operating theatre was on and the doctors were performing a procedure on Old Master Kim.

Yu Xiuhua anxiously looked at her husband Kim Qing. “Wasn’t he fine in the afternoon? What happened?”

A nurse explained, “Old Master Kim said he had regained his sight. He told us to continue applying his eye drops but we couldn’t find them, so he became so mad that he passed out…”

“What eye drops? Can’t we get more from the pharmacy?” asked Kim Qing. It was not like the Kim family could not afford to buy some eye drops.

“Jennie gave him the eye drops and the hospital doesn’t have the same one,” explained the nurse hurriedly.

Kim Qing immediately disregarded the eye drops and felt his father was overreacting.

Old Master Kim doted on Jennie a lot, so he cared about the things she gave him. However, it was sheer nonsense to say that his eyes had recovered because of Jennie’s eye drops.

Old Master Kim had gradually lost his sight over a decade ago, so even the gods could not save it.

Old Master Kim finally came out of the operating theatre at dawn. His face was pasty and his lifeless eyes looked murky.

“Dad.” Kim Qing stepped forward.

“My eye drops. Get me my…” said Old Master Kim as he waved his hand.

Kim Qing immediately said, “I will buy them right away. I will buy you ten bottles even. I will buy you any kind of eye drops you want.”

“I only want that one.” Old Master Kim was so weak that it seemed as though he was going to pass out at any moment.

Kim Qing felt powerless. Even though he was aware that the eye drops were a mere placebo for Old Master Kim and useless in reality, everyone had to try looking for it considering his condition.

Yu Xiuhua said hesitantly after they came out of the hospital ward, “I tossed it into the trash yesterday.”

“Why did you throw it?” Kim Qing was furious.

“Ever since Jennie gave him those dubious eye drops, Dad refuses to take any other medicine. How can his body take it if this persists? Also, you know full well that Jennie’s medicine is useless. Dad has been blind for over a decade. How could she give him fake medicine? Whose fault is it if his condition aggravates from not taking medicine?” Yu Xiuhua looked angry.

Krystal hurriedly said, “Mom was just worried about Grandpa.”

Kim Qing had no choice but to get people to search for it.

Countless patients came to Benevolent Hospital daily, so they generated a lot of trash.

According to hospital policy, trash was cleared three times a day. The trash was sorted into medical waste and common refuse before they were disinfected and sent to the refuse collection point in the city.

How could they find the eye drops?
