Rosé was dumbfounded by Lisa’s reply.

What was going on?

She seemed to detect tenderness in Lisa’s voice. He sounded a little indulgent. Also, he sounded a little happy and smug.

“Jin, can you play that again?” Rosé thought her ears were playing tricks on her.

Jennie tapped on the audio message once more.

Rosé opened her eyes wide in shock when she heard it again.

Jisoo came back to the hospital ward after Rosé summoned him urgently. The moment he saw the scene in the room, he laughed and said, “Did you tell me to come back to see this?”

Director Chen Junior said, “Miss Manoban, I think your brother did not say no to buying Dr. Jenny some lunch since she is your doctor, but I don’t think he will date her seriously.”

Director Chen Junior had heard about Lisa being head over heels in love with a woman who did not love him.

Rosé felt Director Chen Junior was right. However, it was great that Lisa was open to having lunch with some other woman.

It was undoubtedly a major improvement.

She could not expect to see results overnight. As long as Lisa was willing to compromise, she was bound to succeed in time!

Rosé smiled proudly as she said, “I think you are right. He cares about me a lot, so he will naturally be more polite to Dr. Jenny since she is my physician. Jin, you can go for lunch with peace of mind!”

“Then I will go out to wait for him.” Jennie said goodbye to Rosé and left.

She did not ask Lisa out on a date on a whim.

She had known Lisa for a long time. He gave her his all in both lifetimes, but she did not even go out on a date with him once. She had to make up to him bit by bit.

Director Chen Junior’s appearance simply served as a reminder to Jennie.

Director Chen Junior called her back as she strode out confidently. “Dr. Jenny.”

“Why are you still here?” Jennie thought he had left when he heard she was going on a date with Lisa.

“Let me come with you.” Director Chen Junior looked at Jennie worriedly as he offered unflinchingly. “I heard Mr. Manoban has eyes only for one woman. All the other women who attempted to ask him out, ended up rejected badly! Even though you are his older sister’s doctor, there is no exception.”

Jennie knew that no matter how she explained the situation, Director Chen Junior would never believe her, so she replied, “Sure. Come if you want to.”

Since he was still young, he only trusted his own eyes.

After Jennie left the room, she found a quiet spot and sent her GPS location to Lisa.

She lowered her eyes and looked at her phone to take down some fleeting inspiration she felt.

Director Chen Junior watched her infatuatedly as he sat in front of her.

She was such an incredible and beautiful young woman. Every move she made was elegant. Even though she was simply sitting across Director Chen Junior expressionlessly with some hair falling over her shoulder, he felt worried that her hair would distract her.

Lisa had yet to show up.

Since Jennie was busy writing music, she did not realize how time flew.

Director Chen Junior kept looking at the gorgeous young woman and felt he could never grow tired or hungry as long as he watched her.

They had agreed to have lunch, but it was past teatime and Lisa had yet to turn up.

Director Chen Junior finally realized how late it was and felt happy. He acted annoyed as he convinced Jennie to leave. “Mr. Manoban just doesn’t care about meeting you. Even though he agreed to buy you lunch, he did not show up. He is clearly trying to wear your patience thin and get you to stop trying.”
