The owner took a sip from her glass of tea. She'd been talking for an hour or two at this point, but even you're not sure how long it's actually been. You took a sip of the tea from your glass as a reflex as well.

"We spent the days like this for the better half of 12 years. The arcade's business was going just fine, and there weren't much trouble financial-wise."

The owner giggled a bit.

"Except for when she keeps pulling all-nighters on the arcade games. hah! The electric bill's never dropped ever since she came here."

You giggled too. "Yup, that's Silver Wolf, alright."

There was a bit of silence, but then the owner got up from her chair, and brought the jug of tea for a refill of hot water in her kitchen. You turned your head back to see the TV where Silver Wolf pointed out herself to be a lone wolf. You couldn't help but feel a bit sad thinking about the story. Then, the owner started to speak again.

"As you might've noticed, Silvie's been back down at the arcade not too long ago. I told her about my days and she told me about hers."

The owner paused for a moment.

"There was this spot that she mentioned, this one spot where you could see the entire city, no matter where you look at it from."

She then proceeds to hand over a picture to you. It was an overview shot of the entire city, with Silver Wolf behind the camera, making a peace sign on the side of the picture.

"If she's anywhere in the city, there's a high chance that she's going to be right there."

With this newly acquired evidence, you're filled with determination again. You placed the picture down at the dining table, and stood back up.

"Thank you very much, ma'am! I'll definitely find her and get her to safety!"

The owner of the arcade gave you a nod in agreement.

As you were heading out the door of the arcade owner's house, you stopped and asked her a question.

"...Before I leave ma'am, I have one last question... why did you tell me all of this? Why do you trust me this much?"

The arcade owner smiled and sat back down at a chair by the dining table.

"Let's just say... I had a good feeling about you." She took a sip out of her newly poured tea.

You let out a cheeky smile. "Thank you ma'am! I won't forget what you've done for me today!"

And so you left, dashing towards the tallest building in Rainbow City.

After you left, the owner stared into space, mumbling her thoughts out loud.

"You were right, Silvie. He really is a goof."

The owner recalled back to when Silver Wolf was 17. The owner was kicking her out, mentioning something about "playing games and lazing about all day". They had an argument, but eventually Silver Wolf was left to fight and survive on her own again.

The owner wouldn't hear about Silver Wolf again, until a couple months later where a couple of gang members came and almost destroyed the arcade. Silver Wolf showed up, and defeated the gang members before anyone got hurt. Silver Wolf walked away from the scene, leaving both the arcade owner and Silver Wolf to their own complicated emotions. Nobody's ever came for the arcade again though, but the business of the arcade dwindled for a couple of months after the incident.

After a year and for absolutely no reason, a bunch of kids and young adults alike, came by to the arcade to play the games that young kids in that generation would've considered 'old'. Not to mention the spurge of young adults in their teens to their 20's as well, what turn of events could've possibly happened? Then, the arcade owner overheard some of the young adults talking about Silver Wolf, and how her name really is on the top of all the scoreboards in each arcade machine. Then, the owner saw the news on TV, where each and every news channel was talking about the newest bounty on the famous hacker: Silver Wolf. Whatever she has done, she's now enemies with multiple organizations, and has been gaining even more traction lately from her hacking battle with Screwllum, one of the Genius Society members. Although the general public views her as a threat and just another face on a wanted poster, the younger generation of hackers and gamers view her as a legend, and both admires and aspires to be like her someday. Seeing Silver Wolf being good at whatever it was she's doing, the arcade owner couldn't help but leave a smile on her face.

Cut to present day, where just a day before you came by, Silver Wolf was playing Pong on one of the arcade machines. The hype for Silver Wolf died down, and the birthplace of a Punklorde legend became a myth, and eventually forgotten, left to collect dust in the suburbs. The arcade owner came down to her basement to see why the lights were on in the old abandoned arcade she closed down years ago, and to her surprise, saw the same little girl she saw back when the arcade was still opened, only this time the little girl was all grown up, and is now a genius hacker, but a wanted fugitive.

"...I found my pack."

Silence prevailed for 3 seconds, with only the sounds of the arcade machine ringing across the entire abandoned arcade.

"... That's good, Silvie."

Another pause of silence.

"I also found... a friend."

The arcade owner was curious.

"Oh? ...That's good, Silvie. What kind of person are they?"

Silver Wolf giggled.

"He's... kind of a goofball."

The owner holds up her phone, looking at a picture sent to her by an anonymous user. It was a picture of you, playing games on your pc in Silver Wolf's room, with Silver Wolf behind the camera, making a peace sign with her hands. Then, the owner looks up at her ceiling.

"A friend...... huh?"
