#101: You Get Your Child / Children A Pet

Niall: Fish 

Niall had just come back from tour and you decided to take your children out for a day of fun. "Daddy, Daddy. Look at all the pretty fish" your 5-year-old daughter said to Niall as they passed a pet shop. "Yeah, they are really pretty" he smiled, ruffling her hair. "Look Daddy, this looks like Nemo." She giggled. Finding Nemo was her favorite movie and she wouldn't stop staring at it. "Do you want one Hales?" Niall asked her. "Really?" she squealed, her eyes glowing with excitement. "Sure princess, we can get one for you and one for Li, only if you promise to take care of it" Niall said, locking pinkies with his daughter. "I pinky promise" she smiled, kissing her father's cheek. She came out of the pet store holding a bag with two fish and a smile plastered on her face. "Look Li, mummy and daddy bought us fishies, I'll name mine Nemo and you can name yours Nandos" she said, holding a bag up for her two-year-old brother to see. "Cooowwwllll" he mumbled as Niall kissed your cheek, wrapping an arm around your waist. "They're so happy" you smiled, staring down at you children. "Yeah, I guess I wanted to make them happy since I've been gone for so long" he said, guiltily. "They love you Ni, and so do I. Never doubt that." You said seriously. "And I love you all very much" he smiled, kissing you one last time as you started walking away.

Liam: Dog 

Liam decided it was time that you went on a family picnic so your three 5-year-old toddlers could run around the park and have some fun outside the house. You and Liam were discussing issues regarding what new school your kids would be attending this new scholastic year, when you heard a faint scream which sounded much like Ariel. You and Liam quickly got up from the blanket and frantically make your way to your children. "Are you OK?" You screamed as your kids came into view. "Yes, you silly mummy. We're fine" Aurora said. "Look what we found" Aspen chimed in. She directed you to walk behind the bushes and you saw a dog covered in flies, looking rather lost. "Looks like it needs our help" Liam said, picking up the dog, wrapping it in a blanket. You took him to nearest vet and got him all taken care of and you found out that his old owner threw him out because he didn't want him anymore. You were eating lunch right before you were going to take Buzz, the dog, to the shelter to be adopted for a better life. You kids looked pretty glum for some reason. "Are you girls alright?" Liam asked your children. "Daddy, can we keep Buzz, pretty pretty please?" Ariel asked with puppy dog eyes. You and Liam both couldn't resist your angels' charm so you smiled at eachother before Liam started talking. "Girls, looks like we have a new addition to our family." "Yay!" They screamed hugging Buzz, "thank you Mummy, Thank you Daddy!"

Harry: Kitten 

You were shopping for dresses for you and your daughter for a family wedding and Harry and your son decided to tag along. "OK you guys wait here whilst I look around and when I have some choices I'll call Darcy to try them on." You instructed. Harry nodded his head, sitting down on the bench in front of the store, setting your son's stroller aside of him whilst Darcy took a seat next to him. After a little while Harry came into your view asking, "is Darcy trying on a dress?" "No. I thought she was still with you." "No, she told me she heard you call her and she came in to find you." You were already freaking out and Harry started to panic. "OK, let's start looking around" Harry said frantically. After endless looking around you found Darcy sitting on the floor next to a tank of kittens, at the pet shop next door. You started to relax but Harry still looked stressed out. "Darcy, don't ever do something like that ever again" you warned. "I'm sorry mummy, I'm sorry daddy, I didn't mean it. But I saw the kittens and I wanted to come look" Darcy explained. "It's alright baby, as long as your safe" Harry said, kissing her forehead. "Mummy, can we get one?" She asked sweetly. You always wanted a cat and so you looked at Harry with a questioning look. "I don't know, it's a big responsibility Darc...", "I'll promise I'll take care of her". After a while Harry accepted and walked out with your new kitten Snowflake. "Look Evan, mummy and daddy got us a kitty" she beamed, as Evan petted his new obsession.

Zayn: Turtle 

You were having a night in with your family. You were currently reading a book with a cup of hot tea on the sofa with Zayn next you along with your 2 children. Your three-year-old daughter, Mollie was currently leaning sleepily on Zayn playing with her favourite doll, Millie, and Zayn and your six-year-old son, Trevor were reading a book filled with all the animals you can think of, something that Trevor could never get enough of. "Look daddy, that's a turtle" Trevor yelled happily. "Yeah buddy, you like them?" Zayn asked, smiling down at his son. "They're my favourite animals on the whole planet" he smiled excitedly. "How about we get one?" Zayn asked, your already over-excited son. "What?" You yelled. "C'mon babe, Trevor wants one really badly" Zayn pleaded. "We are not getting any pets Zayn, I've already got enough on my plate" you retorted, pointing to your five month swollen belly. "But mummy..." Trevor whined to you. You were about to cave in but you decided against it and held your ground. "I'm sorry buddy, maybe in the future" you said. "It would be really cool to have a pet though" Trevor whined, hanging on to Zayn. He started crying, sobbing into Zayn's shirt. Zayn looked at you, smiling sadly, understanding where you were coming from, rubbing circles on your son's back in comfort. You sighed, "alright baby, don't cry. Me and daddy can get you a turtle" you smiled, hugging your son tightly. "Thank you mummy" said a now smiling Trevor. "You're welcome baby. Plus it will be you and your daddy who will be the ones taking care of it." You smiled. "What?" Trevor and Zayn said in unison. You laughed before gathering all your family and headed out to buy Sheldon, your new pet turtle.

Louis: Hamster 

It was Shane And Noah's 4th birthday that day and you were celebrating it with family and friends, except the fact that Louis wasn't with you since he was on tour. Your sons were pretty bummed that their Father wasn't there but quickly forgot about it when all their friends had arrived with presents. After cutting the cake all of their friends went home. Whilst the boys were playing with their new toys on the plush carpet of the living room, your mum was helping you get everything cleared up. "Thanks for all the help mum, goodnight" you smiled as your mum was about to leave. "Bye sweetie, bye boys" she said, kissing the boys' forehead. "Bye grandma" the said in unison. As you were getting the boys ready for bed you heard a click coming from the front door. "Surprise" you heard as Louis came into view. "Daddy" your boys shouted, running into their father's embrace. "Hey Babe" he smiled hugging you. "I missed you Lou" you said, hugging him back. "I missed you guys too, how was your birthday boys?" He asked. "We got so many presents Dad" Noah said, "yeah come look" Shane added, guiding your Husband to the living room to see their brand new toys. "Guess what I got you boys" he smiled, reaching for a box he had got with him. Inside the box were two hamsters, one each. "Lou, are you mad?" You screamed at your husband's stupidity. "What? C'mon babe, look at how happy they are", looking at down at your smiling twins, playing with their new pets. "You're a mess Lou. But you're my mess" you smiled, once you decided to keep the hamsters, much to your dismay. "Mummy, we can name the white one Ben and the brown one Jerry" Noah smiled. "These are so cool dad. We have pets" Shane added. "I'm letting you keep them but I'm not taking care of them." You said seriously, even though you new that none of your boys were going to listen, especially Louis.
