chapter twenty seven

I wake up and feel movement beside me. I open my eyes suddenly, i had a dream about well basially getting hunted and killed by this person but beside me is just joao who was sitting up and taking the blanket off him.

"hm? meu amor tu bem?" he asks gently rubbing my back.

"yep" i yawn nodding my head "just had a dream" i put my head on his lap.

"about the like unknown guy?" he asks. I nod and just watch tiktok with him.

"oh shit- i have to pick my parents up" i jump up

"amor tranquilo, they called a while ago they are staying there for dinner" joao holding out his hand for me as i come back to bed. "agora" he kisses the side of my head, his arm around my neck pulling me in.

"speaking of dinner, what do you want?" he asks

"anything- you pick, but we'll have to order something since the groceries just ran out" i say

"okay" he kisses my forehead.

"ill pay" i say pulling out my phone. He tries to stop me but i order the food before he can do anything. "you like thai so i got thai" i say.

"you didnt have to" he chuckles

"joao sometimes you have to let me pay or else i feel like im a sugar baby or something" i kiss his cheek "thank you meu amor".

"thank you? youre paying" he laughs

"nooo thank you for everything" i roll my eyes "i dont know what i would do with out you". He smiles and softly wraps his arms around me again,

I lay on him for a while, my eyes closed as my head is buried in his chest. I try match his breathing but this guy breathes too slowly so i go back to my regular pace.

Im not asleep but i dont think im fully awake when i hear the doorbell ring, i sorta forgot we ordered food so i looked like i was aboutta shit myself until joao got up to the door casually and came back a while later with a bag.

I sit up and we get some plates before eating.

"after dinner ill go to pick up your parents okay? you wont have to leave the house at all" he says. I smile and we continue eating. After we're done, indeed he goes to pick up my parents.

"tchau meu amor" he kisses the top of my head before leaving the place. As im peacefully watching tv i hear the door opening. My paranoid ass turns back pretty much horrified and then calms down when i see its just yasmina.

"yabibi i havent seen you all day" i say as she sits beside me.

"i know right - but tommorow im taking your parents to alllll the sights" she smiles. We sit together and yap to each other- i leave out the part where im being stalked but oh well.

When my parents come home, we all watch a movie on the couch togteher.

"i think im gonna go home now" joao kisses my forehead, standing by the door.

"aw okay- good luck on the game on sunday- love you" i say kissing his cheek. I feel a smile spread on his cheeks.

"you love me?" he grinns.

"Well thats good becuase i love you too" he smiles holding my hand "bye meu amor". He closes the door, i lock it with a smile and go to watch the movie with them

Its harry potter and the prizoner of azkaban, and since im down bad after like 2 hours i start texting joao.
