Pushing her away sharply, Raj snapped, "None of your business. Focus on your own tasks."
"But Raj, your hand..." Tina tried to speak, but Raj's dismissive tone cut her off, and he headed straight to their room, his emotions boiling under the surface.
Tina quickly prepared a plate of food, her hands trembling with unease, and followed him, attempting to maintain a sense of normalcy amid the growing tension. "Raj, let's eat something," she suggested softly, hoping to ease the palpable strain in the air.
"I don't want to eat. You go ahead," Raj replied curtly, his hunger conflicting with his emotions, evident from the growl of his stomach.
"Yeah, I know," Tina replied, her voice tinged with sadness and understanding. As she moved closer to feed him, he forcefully pushed her away, causing her to stumble and fall, the plate shattering on impact.
Tears welled up in Tina's eyes as she sat on the floor, shattered both physically and emotionally. She had always been treated with love and care, but now, she questioned what had changed, what had caused Raj to push her away so harshly.
Raj, feeling a pang of guilt, approached her and extended a hand to help her up, but she pushed him away, standing up on her own. "It's your habit, isn't it, Raj?" she said, her voice trembling with a mix of hurt and anger. "You make mistakes, apologize, but you never truly learn."
Raj attempted to explain, "Tina, I was stressed. I didn't mean to hurt you."
Tina let out a bitter laugh, her heart heavy with disappointment. "You're always like this. You hurt, apologize, and then repeat the cycle. Remember the day Mishti caught us? You slapped her and then ran after her, apologizing. You fucked me and then chased after her again, saying sorry."
