I woke up to the sound of birds chirping at my window. It was past 10 O' clock already. I turned around to the other side, only to find the bed cold.
The house was dead silent. Damon is already gone.

I wish he was still here. But he probably had some work to do. Afterall, he was out of the city for so long.
I stood up from the bed and went to freshen up and take a shower. I was feeling a lot better today. I felt relaxed.
Quickly coming out of shower, I changed into my casual clothes, a baggy t-shirt and shorts. Drying my hair with towel, I let them fall on my shoulders.
Moving towards the kitchen, I got surprised to see Damon standing there, doing something on the stove.
But I thought he left. The house was so silent.
"Good morning." His voice brought me back to reality, as he greeted me without turning around to look at me.
"Good morning. What are you doing here?" I asked him, moving towards the kitchen island.
"I thought I should make something for both of us." He replied.
"No. I mean here at my place. I thought you left already." I asked him.
"Well I did leave, but to buy a few things for breakfast. You were sleeping so peacefully. So, I didn't wake you up." He smiled at me.
God. He is so beautiful. Especially his smile. I returned his smile with mine.
"Thank you. But you didn't have to do all of this. Also, shouldn't you go to office at this time?"
"No. I don't have anywhere to be at this moment. I have taken a leave for 3 days, since I wanted to relax after the business tour. And don't forget that I am the boss." He turned towards me and came close." And I wanted to spend time with you." He said as he gently caressed my cheek. I leaned into his touch. "How are you feeling now?"
