Abhimaan 's pov:

As we finished dinner, I suggested we talk in our bedroom, away from the eyes and ears of the palace staff. Mayura nodded, and we walked to OUR room .

As we sat down on the couch, I noticed something different in her eyes. The anger and hatred that had once burned bright were gone, replaced by a soft acceptance. It was as if she had finally come to terms with our situation, with our marriage, and with me.

I took a deep breath, my heart pounding in my chest. "Mayura, I know I've made mistakes," I began, my voice low and gentle. "I know I've hurt you, and for that, I'm truly sorry."

Mayura looked at me, her eyes searching for mine. "I know you are, Abhimaan," she said, her voice soft. "And I forgive you."

I felt a weight lift off my shoulders, a sense of relief washed over me. "Thank you, jaana ," I said, my voice filled with emotion.

We sat there in silence for a moment, the only sound the beating of our hearts. And in that moment, I knew that we had finally found a new beginning, a new chance to start anew.

"How did you do this, Mayura?" I asked, my curiosity piqued. "How did you manage to find that clip so easily?"

Mayura looked a little nervous, as if she was about to share a secret that could change the course of our lives. And then, she smirked. Yes, she actually smirked!

I was taken aback, my mind racing with questions. What was she hiding? What did she know that I didn't? And why was she looking at me like that, like she had a secret weapon up her sleeve?

"Jaana , what's going on?" I asked, my voice laced with a mix of curiosity and caution. "What are you hiding?"

But she just kept smirking, her eyes sparkling with mischief. And I knew right then and there that I was in trouble. Big trouble.

I went down on both knees, my hands and head resting on her lap, and asked, "Mayura, will you accept this marriage? Will you be my queen, my partner, my everything?"

She smiled and smirked, and this time, the smirk was even hotter. "As I said before, You have to beg for it," she said, her voice husky and playful.

I was surprised, but I couldn't help but tease her back. "You want the king  Abhimaan deep Shekhawat to beg? You want me to grovel at your feet?"

Mayura just laughed, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Maybe just a little," she said, her voice dripping with sass.

I didn't beg, instead, I threw a challenge. "Oh, really? You want me to beg? Well, I'm afraid that's not going to happen, my queen," I said, a teasing glint in my eye. "I'm the king, after all. I don't beg.

Mayura's eyes narrowed, her smirk still in place. "Then I have to reconsider!?" she asked, her voice husky and playful.

"Ah, so now the Queen is manipulating? ," I said, a sly grin spreading across my face. "But be warned, my queen...if you lose, you'll have to accept our marriage, no questions asked."

Mayura's eyes sparkled with excitement, and she leaned in closer, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'm not afraid of a little challenge, Abhimaan. Bring it on."

We went to our bed, and of course, the pillow wall was still there, but this time, we both had smiles on our faces. We climbed into bed, and as we settled in, I turned to Mayura and wished her a goodnight. She smiled back at me, her eyes already drooping with exhaustion.

"Goodnight, Abhimaan," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

"Goodnight, Jaana ," I replied, my voice soft and gentle.
