FUN FACTS ABOUT "Not That Interested":

1)* The book title comes from the concept of Areeb's disinterest.

2)* The story started from the idea of "Gays being forced to marry" in our society. My friends know that I planned to write about it, so for the past two months, whenever I zone out in front of them this happens:

My friends: "Yeah, leave her alone she's thinking about her gay book."
Me: "It's not a gay book."
My friends: 0.o "G.A.Y."

3)* I was really nervous about this book. Still am, actually. My family has no idea about it! They think I'm texting all the time. It took a while before I opened up to really close friends. When they saw my "Areeb" for the first time, this happened:

Friend X: Holy moly, he's hot! Why'd you have to make him gay? That's unfair for women!

Friend Y: So? Gay men are often hot. Straight ones look like this...*glares at her guy sitting next to her*

Her Guy: What the hell?

Me: LOL! So using this one! Ha!

4)* I was so lazy thinking up names, I just rearranged Mina's letters for her surname. (MINA AMIN) heh.

5)* I thought about breaking the whole baby crises into a sequel Very Much Interested. My lameness knows no bounds. As of now, I really don't have any sequel plans. Or any other book plans. It may change, let's see...

6)* I almost married off Mina and Areeb. I thought the book would have packed a bit more punch that way. #Sadistic

7)* I almost killed off Areeb.

8)* I almost Killed off Kulsoom Nani. (Dodges tomatoes for this one)

9)* Shehzer and Mina's childhood crush is inspired by real-life events. Don't worry yourselves though, nothing beyond that is REMOTELY true. ;)

10)* I only like Shehzer's cast character (Emmad Irfani) very selectively. Srsly, not all of his pictures of Google Images are attractive. :$

11)* I tried to make Mina very unlike me, but my friends still think she's just like me. I think it's because she's very relatable to most of us. (P.S. I suck at art!)

12)* I got the idea for chapter names from F.R.I.E.N.D.S. In case you missed that. :D

13)* I'm secretly hating the first few chapters of this book, and I can't understand why people even bothered sticking with it. I definitely need to fix it soon.

14)* Kulsoom Nani's character is inspired by Lady Danbury (A character from my favorite contemporary historical romance books, by Julia Quinn)

15)* Simba is the cat I never had! :( #BuzzKillMom

16)* Inayah's antics are inspired by my adorable baby cousins.

17)* My friends are hilarious. A lot of one-liners in this book are stolen shamelessly from our insane conversations.

18)* There have been no chapter dedications yet, because I can't figure out how to do that. #StillWorkingOnIt

19)* I seriously debated putting this book in the "Romance" category, but I felt that initially, the primary target audience (Muslims) might come accross it more easily if it's in spiritual (They should really change the name to "Muslim Romance" because there ain't nothing spiritual about 95% of the books over there). That being said, I'm noticing a growing surge of audience beyond my primary target, so maybe maybe, I might switch categories.

20)* Silent readers confuse me. Do you hate the book? Do you not know how to vote or comment? It doesn't take much to make an author's day y'know! ;) #SorryNotSorry

Hello there good folks! :D
Asslamulaikum!
Hope you're doing fantastic!
Now that we're officially DONE AND DUSTED! I'd like to give a special shout out to my friends who helped nail down plot details, and who have been waiting for me to finish my book (I refused to give them the link!) Kunza, Tinkerbell, Ass, Fariq, Zubya...love you idiots.

MahamSiddiqui_, and SyedaNimraZakir you two are the only ones I actually gave the link to, knowing that you won't judge me! *Cookies for you* Your encouragement meant A LOT!

Ahem! Okay...now for the readers, voters and commenters!
YOU GUYS ROCK! seriously, fantastic audience you've been. I haven't come accross a single hater (yet!) and the encouragment, love and support you guys gave to me and my imperfect book, is just phenomenal! I'm nearing 100k reads, in 2 frickin months! how insane is that?

Also, in case you missed it, my book also reached #1 in spiritual a day ago! So that's another milestone I'm ecstatic about!
It couldn't have been possible without you guys supporting me! So thank you for that.

I'll be re-editing and fixing earlier chapters before I enter the Wattys. (Yes, I'm going for it. Hugely presumptuous of me, but heck, who cares?) And I'll try my best to dedicate chapters to my favorite readers and commenters. But I still want to mention you guys here for being awesome! For sticking with this book since forever, for the adorable comments (I've said before, around 60% of my motivation to write comes from the anticipation of reading your comments. So here are most of my favorite supporters! ^__^ forgive me if I forget to tag you (YOU'RE A LOT!)
