Kevin pulls up in my car.

As soon as he parks he jumps out and runs over to me.

I wipe my eyes and hugs him.

"Come on," he pulls me to my car.

I look back and Elijah walks out of the store.

His eyes are red and his hair is a mess from the ice cream.

"Hey, why are you all, a mess?" Kevin asks.

I slightly laugh.

"We had a good fight," I explain.

"I would like to fight Elijah," he teases.

"Kevin let's just go," I say and walk over to my car.

"Averie," my eyes meet Elijah's.

I take a deep breath and look the other way.

"Averie, that enough now," Kevin says.

I take a drink of vodka.

"It's only my first bottle," I slur.

"Please stop," he pleads.

I stand up and laugh.

"I'm so fucking stupid," I laugh.

Kevin stands up and catches me from falling.

I just want to scream and shout at the world.

God I'm such a fucking idiot.

I fall to my knees and start to cry.

I hate myself.

Kevin holds me and rubs my back.

"It's okay," he coos.

"No it's not," I snap. "He cheated on me."

"He what?" Kevin yells.

"And I hate myself," I cry.

Guess I forgot to tell him why, just called him to pick me up.

"No, Averie don't," he says.

"I'm so fucking stupid, why would I ever think he would fall for someone like me? Why? Why the hell would I think I actually have a chance with someone when look," I walk in a circle with the bottle in my hand. "Everyone hates me, even me."

"I don't hate you Averie, and it was a mistake," Kevin says.

"A mistake? That's why he had sex with my sister! Natalie! The girl who takes basically every guy away from me, what the hell did I ever do to her?" I scoff.

"I know, exist," I roll my eyes. "If I were never here this wouldn't have happened. I'm just another fucking mistake."

"Averie please," Kevin holds my hand.

"No! I don't even deserve you as a friend! Look at me! I'm a mess, my life is a mess," I slur.

"How?" He tilts his head.

"Look!" I yell. "My first boyfriend left me because he got me pregnant, my second crush was taken away by my sister, my second boyfriend cheats on me with my sister. My parents hate me. I'm fat! I have nothing to lose so why not end it now?" I slur.

"Averie! I'm sorry about everything that has happened in your life but you're not fat, and you have me-"

"That's why I make myself throw up," I laugh. "Oops."
