*sorry this isn't proofread either, I'm just really tired and have been working on this one forever. But just to be clear, the last book scene they are outside where everything is bright, close to the cliffs, in the grass. Sorry again (:(*

"Please tell me that was a fucking dream," I yell.

"What?" A voice besides me muffles.

Kyle sits up and rubs his eyes.

"We slept for like two hours, go back to bed," he rubs my back.

"I can't," I cry. "It was a dream right? Please tell me it was. That he didn't sleep with Natalie. That I didn't tell Kevin everything. Please."

"I'm sorry," he says.

I get out of bed and walk downstairs.

Why?

Blake comes down and licks my cheek.

He always likes to do that when I cry or sweat. The salt water.

"Hey, you want some coffee or something?" Kyle asks.

"Sure," I smile.

"Please," Kevin comes running down the stairs.

Haley right behind him.

She comes running over to me.

She hugs me tight.

"I'm so sorry," she says.

"It's okay," I mumble.

She sits on the counter.

"Someone said coffee?" Elijah comes down the stairs with his shirt off.

I feel like I can't breathe.

Not because his shirt but because he's here.

He sees Kyle without his shirt on his eyes meet mine.

I look back at Haley.

"Yeah, I guess I'll make the whole fucking house coffee," Kyle yells.

"I can-"

"Nope," he says and starts to make some.

"So do you wanna do something today?" Haley asks. "Maybe a game of volleyball. Cliff diving?"

"Cliff diving," I smile.

"No," Kyle says. "It's my birthday, we're playing couple games."

"Oh happy birthday. Why couple games?" I ask.

Out of all the things in the world too? Could it be anything else?

"Because everyone deserves someone, there's a bunch of games, it'll be fun," he smiles.

"Sure," I say.

My eyes meet Elijah's and he bites his bottom lip.

For some reason I can't keep my eyes off of them.

"So I want to be partnered with Cameron," Kyle says.

Cameron broke up with her boyfriend and is now not with Kyle but just partners I guess.

"I'm with Kevin," Haley smiles.

"I'm with Charlie," I smile.

"I'm with Eli," Natalie wraps her arms around him.

Charlie comes next to me and smiles.

"Hey, you good?" He asks.

"Yeah," I smile.
