Ashton lets go of me. We go to sleep and I wake up to a knocking at the door.

It's Annette.

"Ready?"

"What?" I ask.

"Yeah, class starts in 15 minutes."

"What?" My jaw drops.

My alarm clock didn't go off. I quickly throw on jean shorts and a flower shirt. I put on my flower vans to match my shirt. I put on little makeup and brush out my hair, I grab my things and head out the door.

All day I was thinking of how Annette described her mom.

When I get back to my dorm I lay down on my bed but soon get up to go to Annette's dorm.

I knock on her door, she answers it.

"Hey, wanna get something to eat?" I ask her.

"Sure." She nods.

"Oh, can Rebecca come too?" I add.

"Of course." She smiles.

We take my car. We have about an hour until we have to be back.

We go to a burger place and we eat outside. When this woman comes.

She approaches me first but Annette notices her instantly.

"Oh my god." Her eyes grow big.

"Annette?" The woman murmurs.

"Go away." Annette sounds angered.

"Annette?" I ask her.

She stands up and walks away.

"Who are y-" I realize she's just the way Annette described her.

"Wait you're her?!" I question.

She doesn't answer. Rebecca and I go after Annette.

I grab Annette by the arm.

"Let go of me!" She yells.

"Annette..." I say.

"She isn't worth my time!" She yells once more.

"Annette. I know that you.." I'm interrupted by her shouting.

"She abandoned me! She isn't worth anyone's time!" She wails.

I hug her and she starts to bawl.

"So this is how I looked like." I think.

We go back to school and we stay in my dorm.

We lay in my bed. Ashton comes in. He's about to say something when I gesture him not to.

The bell rings. Rebecca and I to go to class. We leave Annette to her thoughts.

"Hi professor. Um.. Annette got really sick." I explain.

"That's funny knowing I just saw you with her, she looked pretty fine to me." He crosses his arms.

"Oh, we had gone out to eat and she got sick, I guess from the food." I shrug.

"Take your seat class." He yells into my ear.

"Okay then."

Throughout the class the professor would not stop staring at me.

The bell rings and he calls me up to his desk.

"Ms. Johnson. I would like to hear the truth about Annette. It isn't the greatest to hear one of my students is skipping class. I may have to get your parents involved if we don't resolve this issue." He speaks sternly.
