"Clem?"

"Of course you do." I throw the towel into the laundry basket.

"I'm sorry, I thought I'd be -"

"It's okay, he's free now, I won't get in your way anymore." I give her glowered face.

I bump into her 'accidentally' and head downstairs.

I find Ashton sitting in the lounge area. My eyes were fixed on him causing me to run into a boy.

"Hey. Watch it."

"Sorry." I sarcastically smile.

"Whatever. Just watch where your going wouldn't want to get that brain of yours anymore scattered." He rolls his eyes.

"Hey, keep rolling your eyes, maybe you'll find a brain back there." I snap.

"Haha, so funny."

"What's your name?" I ask him.

"Name's David."

"Hmm." I start to walk away.

"Hey, conspicuous..."

"Wow, another nickname." I place my hands into my pockets.

"What's your name?"

"Clementine, 'conspicuous boy', call me Clem."

"Clementine? What an unusual -"

"Name? Yes I know. At least I wasn't named pea for a brain." I smile.

"Oh, loving the brain comebacks." He steps closer to me.

"Yet you don't have a brain."

"Oh, don't be so rude." He played.

"Okay." I scoff and cross my arms.

"Okay." He chuckles. His smile was blinding, yet it was so charming.

I walk away.

"Bye conspicuous boy." I holler agitated, walking away. I hear his distant laugh.

I walk while staring at my ring. I'm glad 'conspicuous boy' didn't notice it. While looking at my ring, I replay my same incident as before. Instead running into the person I was trying to avoid.

We stare at each other blankly. He's about to speak when I walk past him. My goal was to not encounter him, not run straight into him.

I go to the counter where I contemplated on my thoughts. Thinking about the argument that left me drenched.

Anywhere I had located to I couldn't stop what was on my mind.

I walk upstairs. I close the door behind me. The boy I despise with a passion enters my sight when I turn.

All I wanted to do was avoid him which seemed impossible. I leave the room to crash and meet with the ground. I look up to see the jerk from downstairs.

"Wow, now you're falling for me?" He holds out a hand. I swat at it.

"Shut up 'conspicuous boy'." I lift my self up.

I realize my ring is missing. I start to panic. Again? Seriously?

"Crap." I grumble.

"What?" He crosses his arms

"My ring is gone." I settle down.

I start to search around the floor. Success was mine and I grab it.

Ashton enters the hall way to lead himself downstairs.

I look at him then back to my ring. I slide it on.
