Over the next three weeks, things between Yejun and I progressed. It was now mid April, and we were already discussing our prom and senior trip. I was excited since we didn't really go on any trips. Ever since we got a new principal last year, she insisted no trips since she's lowkey the devil.

"What do you plan on wearing to prom?" I asked Kat. She looked up from her phone and shrugged. "Honestly, I'm not sure. I might go for a royal blue. We have a lot of time."

I raised my eyebrow. Kat's been on her phone a lot lately. Suddenly, a giggle left her mouth. She looked up at me and cleared her throat. "What's up?" I narrowed my eyes and crossed my arm.

"There's something you aren't telling me."

Kat's cheeks bled red as she coughed into her arm. "Uh... So... Matthew and I are dating." A grin broke out as I hugged her.

"How long?"

"About a week now." I frowned and punched her arm. "You couldn't tell me sooner?" She scratched the back of her neck and shrugged. "I wanted to make sure if we'd be stable, sorry about that..."

Even so, I was still happy for Kat. She showed me pictures of them together and some text messages. Matthew goes to Hunter College and majors in economics and minors in business. Kat actually got an acceptance letter from them and isn't sure whether or not she wants to go there or go to Baruch College.

"We were taking for a little, but the out of nowhere he asked me to be his girlfriend. I was shocked, but of course I accepted." Her blue eyes lit up as she talked about him.

"Matt kissed me when I said yes, and I must say, he's a really good kisser. I thought I was going to die." She smirked and licked her lips. "Really good."

The fact that Kat found someone made my heart melt. She smiled and continued on.

I laid my head on Yejun's shoulder. Even after being in the city for a couple of months, he's never been to Flushing. He put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me in. "Are you tired?" He asked.

"Yeah... We get off at the last stop, wake me up then..." I muttered as I drifted off.

A flick to my ear caused me to shoot up. I glared at Yejun as a laugh left his mouth. "We're here Sleeping Beauty." Rolling my eyes, we both got up and exited the train.

He grabbed my hand as I led him out of the station. "Wow..." He said, "There are so many Asians here." I can't blame Yejun for even saying that.

"Len, do you see those Koreans? I only thought most Korean people were at Koreatown!" I looked away in embarrassment as people gave Yejun weird looks. Come on people, he's lowkey a fob.

We walked around Main Street and went into a Cantonese restaurant. "Can you read the Chinese characters?" I looked down at the menu and squinted my eyes at the one he pointed to.

"Ji rou... So this one is chicken." The translation under it confirmed it. Yejun smiled at me. "You say I'm amazing, but you can speak Chinese. I tried learning it, but stuck with English."

This whole conversation started to remind me of Yeong Jin. A soft pang caused me to lowly sigh. Yejun caught the shift in my attitude and put his hand on mine. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." I muttered. Instead, Yejun furrowed his eyebrows. "I don't speak Chinese." He chuckled. I looked up at him and grinned. I didn't even realize I responded in Mandarin. "Sorry! I'm fine Yejun. Let's order."
