Heyo, pls read:

It's been a while, I know. Sorry about that. Being in school is just kinda a lot of work.

Anyway, I've realized that one if my oneshots, "Blood on the TARDIS," was probably my most successful one, comment-wise. I did get some people saying they wanted more, and all of your pleasant (and laughable) comments motivated me to make a *drumroll* SEQUEL!!!!

It's going to be a bit different, with a slightly different situation, but hopefully it'll be almost as good as the original.
BUT- this is going to be more of a hurt/comfort chapter rather than a funny one.
(I may or may not be havin real bad cramps right now so yeah this is inspired by my own struggles lol). The original "Blood on the TARDIS" had a platonic relationship (for the most part) between the Doctor and the reader, but this one is going to be a little bit more than a "just friends" type of thing, just for the sake of content.

*** THIS CHAPTER IS RATED PG-13. ***

If you haven't read "Blood on the TARDIS," I suggest going back and reading that before this one. It's 10th Doctor X Reader, as this is as well.

***IF YOU ARE A MALE, TAKE NOTE: THIS IS ABOUT THE FEMALE MENSTRUAL CYCLE. MIGHT BE KINDA WEIRD FOR YOU. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK. (but maybe learn a thing or two before you say next time "are you on your period or somethin'?" when a girl's mad bc that is a SIN) ***

Enjoy :)

"It doesn't seem really fair that the human women have to go through an uncomfortable cycle like that but human men don't," the Doctor remarked to out of the blue as we sat on the beach, looking at the waves.

It being that time of month, I knew I wouldn't be comfortable swimming under the circumstances. So, I wore a sundress with comfy shorts underneath in place of a swimsuit, a wide sun hat placed on my head and sunglasses shading my eyes. The Doctor, on the other hand, didn't want to miss an opportunity to take to the waves, wearing some zany blue swim shorts with bananas on them.

"You're absolutely right," I replied. "And we have to give birth, too!"

"I'd like it if we stayed away from that subject for a while," the Doctor muttered.

"Got it." I agreed.

After a while, the heat started getting to me. "I'm going to go sit in the shade, over there by the tree line." The Doctor nodded. He moved to wade in the waves a while after I relocated.

I sat and watched the waves flow for a while, the sight of them rolling against each other and the sound of them crashing against the shore enough to rock me to sleep.

The shade was so much cooler and the wind blowing off the sea just right made it easy for me to take a nap, in fact. My eyes fluttering closed on the gently rocking waves, I fell asleep on my towel for who knows how long.

I woke up with a sharp ache in my lower stomach and back.

Oh no.

Sometimes it's hard enough to wake up from a nap without being entirely disoriented it's even harder when you travel with the Doctor, when you wake up disoriented in a strange place. It's the worst when you wake up to the most painful period cramps you've had in a while, after having woken up disoriented on a strange planet.

I turned on my side and curled up into fetal position. It's what usually felt best during these times of pain. But it wasn't helping today. I sat there for a decent amount of time before I began to really feel emotional. I was uncomfortable in the slight heat and humidity, the sun was hurting my eyes after waking up, despite my sunglasses, and ye cramps grew more painful the more I thought about it. I let a few tears slip out, and wished badly to go back to the TARDIS. But I didn't feel like calling the Doctor over. I didn't feel like moving or using any effort.
