Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated. I just started back at school over beak, and I'm trying to keep up with my work.
I SWEAR THAT MY ONESHOTS THAT YOU SUGGESTED ARE COMING SOON.
Very. Soon.

Anyway, here's this to hold you over.

Part 3// More than Friends
Rose's P.O.V.

I thought about David's offer. I have liked him since day 1, and perhaps he had the same feelings for me. But he was my boss! Oh, forget that! He asked ME out in the first place!

"Okay. Yeah. I'll go have dinner with you. Where were you planning on going?" I asked him with a smile.

"There's a fancy Italian place near where I live, after work tomorrow I can drive you there since it's so far away, and then you can stay with me for the night." He replied. I blushed at the thought of staying the night over his place, and my muscles tensed up.

"Err, I have separate rooms." He said, feeling my hand tense up beneath his. I let out a sigh.

"Alright. That's perfect. Not like I wouldn't... Sleep with you and all, I just-" I stopped myself from saying anymore that would make things more awkward than they already were.

His eyes went wide for a moment. "Sorry." I muttered, pulling my hand out from under his.

"It's alright, I would've said the same." He replied.

"So tomorrow then." I said with a nod.

"Tomorrow." He replied.

"See you then." I said with a wave, and then left.

The next morning before work, I did my hair and makeup all fancy and wore my nicest outfit and drove to work.

The day passed extremely slowly, the anticipation for my date with David building up in my stomach.

By the end of the day, I'd practically chewed through my nails and downed five cups of coffee.

The clock hit 6, our usual meeting time, and David emerged from his office, looking nice in a suit and tie. I removed my apron and fixed up my hair.

"You look gorgeous." He said, sizing me up. I was surprised by his comment. He covered his mouth. "Sorry, that kinda just slipped out." He muttered.

I loved how nervous he was, cause I felt it too. I laughed and grabbed hold of his hand. "C'mon." I said with a smile.

We drove for a few hours until we finally reached our destination.

We took our seats, some of the best in the house that overlooked the entire city, and talked over dinner.

"David, this place... The food, the seats, this is amazing!" I marveled. I took another bite of my food. "How did you ever afford it?"

"I know the owner here personally. When I told him I was bringing a date into town, I guess you could say he gave me a discount." He replied, taking a sip of his wine.

I smiled and took another bite of my food. "Well, this is just absolutely amazing. I love it. I lo- Thank you." I was so overwhelmed with joy that I leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek. He stopped in mid-chew, a shocked expression on his face.

"Sorry, got carried away." I said, half-smiling at his shocked expression.

He finished chewing his food. "I-I just wasn't expecting that."

"Yeah, neither was I."

After a long conversation at the dinner table about some of the things we were interested in (turns out, we both have a lot in common, such as favorite TV shows and music groups), it was time for us to go home. To his home, I mean.

On his front porch, he walked ahead of me, keys in hand. He unlocked and opened the door with a flourish. "Ladies first."

"So you never told me. Who owns that restaurant?" I asked as I approached.

"My Uncle Benedict. The meal was actually free." He said with a smile.

"I had fun." I said, the distance between us decreasing by the second until the distance became unbearable.

I pulled him in by the tie. He was so shocked that he dropped his keys until he finally comprehended what was happening and slowly allowed his hands to make their way to my waist as he kissed me back there on the porch.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and he tilted his head to get a better angle, deepening it.

There were no words that could describe this kiss besides that of a madman--fantastic.

"You know you're so fired for this, right?" He broke away to ask.

"Yep." I replied and kissed him again, and then he we both disappeared inside, grabbing his fallen keys off the porch on the way in, hand in hand.
