yoongi had just woken up.

but instead of feeling refreshed, he felt even more tired; it was due to the notifications on his phone. he wished that he could've stayed asleep for a few more hours.

he took his phone and walked out to the living room. jeongguk and seokjin were both gone, by the looks of it. a lone sticky note was waiting for him at the table, along with a bowl of cream soup, a warm mug of coffee, and a metal spoon.

yoongi sat down, picking up the spoon and dipping it in the soup. he took a quick sip of it; it was still pretty warm. they probably left not too long ago.

the small square paler read 'good morning, yoongi. we left breakfast for you. we're going out for a few'. he let himself smile a little at the cheesy note.

he turned on his phone to check his text messages that had supposedly arrived at four in the morning. and as soon as he did, his heart dropped, causing him to drop his phone with a choked gasp.
