YOONGI : [ doesn't meet his eyes ] fifteen minutes. you can spare me.

HOSEOK : hi, yoongi. how's everything these days?

YOONGI : [ scoffs ] are you seriously asking because you don't know?

HOSEOK : ...sorry.

YOONGI : anyways, make it quick. i promised to buy jeongguk and seokjin dinner after.

HOSEOK : okay. come sit.

YOONGI : will this help me at all?

HOSEOK : tell me everything you know.

YOONGI : okay. fine. so i guess this won't be helpful. [ turns back on his heels, slips a shoe back on ] bye.

TAEHYUNG : [ grabs yoongi's arm, looks at him sternly ] yoongi.

YOONGI : ugh, fine. so, a week ago, i get this call, and i'm like, hey, i'll answer it. and i can't really make out what that person is saying to me, so i was like, hey, what's up, man? and that person on the other end of the line is like, i hope the cut on your finger heals soon or something. and i got scared because i didn't tell anyone about it. and the calls kept coming, and the texts keep coming too. look. [ unlocks his phone, shows hoseok the texts ] he—she—i don't know—also kept telling me to check the news, because apparently he, or she, or whatever the hell it is, knows that i like watching television.

HOSEOK : [ stares at yoongi's phone ] hm.

TAEHYUNG : anything?

HOSEOK : of course, i don't know who is behind all this, but...hm.

YOONGI : you're not helping, and i have a dinner to attend to.

HOSEOK : looks like this person looks up to you quite a lot.

YOONGI : excuse me?

HOSEOK : it's like...this person wants to be you. like a makeshift doppelgänger.
