This is an incredible opportunity to have YOUR Wattpad book cover polished to a professional, publishing-ready level. When she's not writing, Lucy works as a professional graphic designer with her business render / compose.

Lucy's clients are international best-selling authors, Wattpad Stars, Wattys award winners, and authors signed to big publishing houses. She works with writers to create customised book covers, kick-ass websites, and scroll-stopping social media graphics that effectively market to online readers.

For October 2016 the theme is: Fantasy

This means that this month, Lucy is looking for truly fantastical Fantasy stories.

Prepare your potions, iron your robes and wave your wands.

Wiggle your spirit-fingers, polish your all-seeing orbs, and drink deep from that fountain of youth.

We want witches and wizards, angels and demons.

Show us monsters and mermaids, elves and imps, dragons and druids, faeries and flamingos (those are mythical beings, right?).

Please note that eligible stories MUST be in the Fantasy genre on Wattpad.

For this contest we will NOT be accepting stories that fit under Vampire, Werewolf, Supernatural or Paranormal categories (you guys will get your chance, don't worry!).

NB: Each month's makeover will match the theme of the upcoming Wattmag issue, so please ensure your entry is suitable

Only entries that fit will be considered.

If your story doesn't quite fit the theme this month, never fear and stay tuned! Your story might just be a perfect fit next time :)

IMPORTANT THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• ONE ENTRY ONLY per person, per month

• Your entry MUST be a story that:

○ is currently published on Wattpad with a MINIMUM of five chapters (not including things like synopsis, author's note, etc.)

○ is written in English (because Lucy is an ignorant mono-linguist and can only read/speak English...)

○ has an existing cover (even if it's very simple or very terrible)

○ has a description/blurb

○ matches the specified theme / genre (see post for details)

• Cut off times for entries are fixed - no submissions will be considered after entries close.

• Each new cover will be made with 100% commercially-licensed stock, provided by Lucy

• Chosen entries will be allowed to use their cover on Wattpad and assoc. social media marketing (e.g. Facebook, Instagram or Twitter posts) ONLY

• Ownership and copyright of all designs produced belong to Lucy Rhodes of render / compose wholly and fully.

• Recipients of cover re-designs may be entitled to purchase ownership & copyright for commercial publishing purposes (e.g. to Amazon, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, etc.) at Lucy's discretion - please contact her directly for more information and full terms & conditions.
