I Dont Hate You

It was 2am in the morning and I couldn't sleep.  Then I saw that someone messaged  me . I saw it was Alex.
He said
A- Can't sleep can you ?
B- I can .
A- I know you never stay up this late .
B- Fine . I can't sleep and  I don't know why .
A- I know why .
B- Why ?
A- Because you don't have me to make you to sleep. 
B- Wow 😒😒😒 . Why did I even ask .
A-😂😂😂😂
B- I am going to sleep. 
A- You can't .
B- Yes I can . With or without you .
A- Whatever. 

He didn't text me after  that and I splet off. 

***The Next Morning ****
Once I woke up , I saw that my friends weren't up yet. 
I took my phone and checked my notifications .
I saw that I had messagses from Alex .
I clicked on it and saw that he sent me. 

A- Honestly ,  I can't sleep .
A- Because your not here .
A- I don't know why I ever  acted as a jerk. 
A- And that cost me to lose you .
A- Trying to get you back is really hard. 
A- Really wish I wasn't that stupid to let you go.
A- If I asked you to go somewhere with me to reconnect our friendship or more , you won't go. 

I can't believe that jerk texted me all of this.
I was so  I angry that he really felt like this. 
My friends got up and I didn't want to ruin the mood so I acted normal. 
"Hey guys ".
"Hey ".
"Hey ".

We did our morning stuff and then we all went home. 
Once I reached home , I got inside and it smelt like alcohol. 
I went into the living room to see Alex playing his PlayStation. 
I turnt off the TV and he looked at me  and said "I was playing something there.  Turn it back  on ".

"No ". I  said
"Why  are acting like this ?".
"Of course you don't remember since you were so drunk last night ".
"So . Nothing happen . I didn't do anything stupid ".
"Ohh really ". I said with enjoyment cause I wanted to see his reaction when he sees what he did .

I showed him the messages and he mumbled "Again ".
"What do you mean again ?".
"Nothing ".
"Alex ".
"Leave it alone Beth ". He said getting up and leaving the living room .
"What do you mean by again Alex ?".
"Nothing ".
"Alex ". I said stopping him
"Beth ". He said pushing me against the wall and I felt like I wanted to cry. 

"Let it go.  You want to cry.  Leave me alone Beth ". Alex said getting annoyed and then wanted to walk away but I said "Wait , Alex.  Tell me ".
"Beth , leave me alone ".
"Alex , tell me ".
"Be-
"Please ".
He didn't talk for awhile until he said "Fine . Its nothing new to me.  Its normal for me to be texting you weird things that I won't say ".
"Why is it normal to you ?" .
"Because , that is the only thing that I do whenever I am drunk ".

"Ohh ".
"Bye ". He said as he want to his room .
"Wait , but why can't you just tell me what you feel when your sober ".
"I-i -I ughhhh ". He said and slammed the door in my face. 
I just sighed a frustrated sigh and went to my room.

I really wanted Alex to tell me how he feels.  
But you hate him ?
Not that much .
Hours past by and I fell asleep.
I felt someone shaking me.  I opened my  eyes and saw it was Alex .
"Hey ". I said
"Get up ". He said in an angry tone and walked out of my room.
"Why ". I wanted to say before he left .
I got up and went downstairs to see my parents and his mother. 

"Hi mom and dad ". I said not really excited that they were back , even though me and Alex had gotten no where with our relationship. 
"Hi sweetie ". They said and hugged me. 
"Hi sweetie ". Alex 's mom said and hugged me as well. 
"Hi ".
"We are back ". My mom said
"Yep ". I said .

"I hope you guys didn't miss us too much ". My dad said. 
Does he honestly think we are kids again ?
But we just both went with it and said "Nope " at the same time. 
My mom made dinner and we all ate dinner and then Alex and his mom went home and then I went up to my room .

I took my phone and texted Alex saying  B- I don't hate you that much .
