Laura POV

"Hey guys, i know it's late but I need you guys, right now, meet me in the lobby in 10 minutes."

I looked at the text before sending it to the 3 people I knew I could trust.

Matt, Cece, and Shahista.

"I'll be there." Matt replied.

"Me too!" Cece said.

"Same, be there soon." Shahista said.

10 minutes later when we were all together I simply said:

"I need to get out of here."

Matt looked worried. "You're leaving?"

"Not forever but at least for tonight. I just need someone to drive me around and stick with me. Because we're going on an overnight road trip."

"Where?" Shahista asked.

"You'll see." I said.

Brent's POV

I messed up.

I really messed it up this time.

I sat on my bed and ran my hands through my hair.

I paced back and forth.

I went to the bathroom to splash my face with water.

I just had to think.

What to do now? I royally screwed up everything. I'm not even sure if we can be as close as we were ever again.

Why? Why Brent? Not only did you tell her you love her, you kissed her! She has a boyfriend.

I have to tell Hayes. He deserves to know.

I took a long, deep breath, before walking up to Hayes room and knocking.

Nash answered.

"Hey, have you seen Hayes?" I asked, trying to sound casual.

"He went to the arcade downstairs." Nash said.

"Ok, thanks."

I walked to the elevator and pressed the button.

My hands were shaking. Of course I wasn't afraid of getting best up by a 13 year old, but I was just scared for the future, what would happen.

I walked up to Hayes when I reached the arcade.

"Hayes, I'm about to tell you something huge. Ok?" I said.

"I know you like her." He said, turning away from his game.

"Yes, I know, but listen, I-"

He cut me off. "It's fine bro, but she's mine and you have to respect that."

"I kissed her." I said rushed.

"What?" He said.

"I kissed her. I am so sorry Hayes, I didn't mean to, I-"

"You didn't mean to! How can you accidentally kiss someone? You kissed my girlfriend!" He yelled, by this time most of the people in the arcade were staring.

"Hayes, I'm sorry, I-"

"No, sorry doesn't cut it, my girlfriend just cheated on me."

"It's not her fault! Don't be mad at her!" I protested.

"Well did she stop you?" He asked.

I paused to think about it.

"Not immediately."

Hayes banged the game with his fist.

"Hayes! Please don't be mad at her, it was all my fault."

"Forget it." Hayes said angrily before waking out.

Way to screw up everything Brent.
