Shahista POV

Jack was great and all but I really can't believe he's treating our 2 year anniversary like no big deal!

It's almost like he forgot it's even today.

A walk on the beach.

Really, that's all he could think of.

This boy is lucky he's cute.

Jack tapped me on the shoulder, snapping me into focus.

"We're here!" he exclaimed excitedly.

I got out of the car and walked along the beach.

"What's wrong?" He asked, concerned, pulling my face to look at his.

"I just wish we had done more for our anniversary." I said.

"This isn't enough?" He asked frowning.

"No! 2 years Jack!" I exclaimed, suddenly frustrated. "That's a long time!"

"I know but does it really matter?" He asked.

"Yes!" I exclaimed again.

"I'm glad you said that." He smiled.

"What?" I said, no longer angry, but very confused.

He gestured in front of him.

I looked in front of us and saw a beautiful candle lit dinner.

I gasped.

"You're the best!" I squealed, latching my arms around him and hugging him.

"Glad you like it." He said, smiling widely.

We are our dinner and listened to our favorite songs.

Then, a slow song came on.

Jack stood up and held out his hand.

"Can I have this dance?" He smirked.

"Yes you may, Mr. Gillinsky." I said, taking his hand and standing up also.

We danced for a minute or too until I heard a loud boom.

I looked up into the sky and saw fireworks.

"Did you plan all of this?" I asked in disbelief.

"All for you." He grinned nervously.

"You are the most sweetest, kindest, and thoughtful boyfriend in this whole world." I said.

"I know." He joked.

"Hey mister. Don't get too cocky. You're no Hayes Grier." I joked back, referring to the whole promise ring thing.

"Are you sure, because can Hayes Grier do this?" He smirked, spinning me.

"I'm not sure, I haven't asked him."

"You're perfect, you know that?" He said.

"I'm not sure." I said. "Remind me."

"Maybe this will help." He said before crashing his lips against mine.

When we pulled away I smiled softly.

"I love you Jack." I said.

"I love you more." He smiled back.

Laura POV

A couple of hours later, Jack and Shahista were still not back.

"Man, where are they?" I asked.

"They're probably doing the dirty on the beach." Taylor joked.

Me and Shawn's girlfriend Natalie chunked pillows at him simultaneously.

We looked at each other and laughed.

Everything seemed perfect.

Everyone was happy and in love.

No more fights, no more drama, everything was normal.

But I knew that wouldn't last long.

And then it happened, the one big event that changed the current status from Perfect to Big Problem.

One single text.

"Hey babe, it's nick, let's meet up sometime."

Nick was back.
