Hey guys! I have something I need to explain!
That last update was the last chapter but this is like an epilogue thing!
Book 3 wil be dropped very soon and my new book starts soon so go check that out as soon as I post it!

It had been 3 months since Hayes woke up.
He had just finished his rehab and was now almost perfectly normal.
It was hard though, I saw things differently.
When people came in to contact with me, I couldn't help but tense up.
When someone steps near me, I flinch.
When I returned to school that next year, people had heard, I couldn't walk down the hallways without being surrounded by people.
They had good intentions, but it was too much.
Hayes was one of the only people I let hug me.
Even though he had failed, Hayes had protected me.
He did his job.
He told me he always would.
He promised.
