one and
two and
three and
four and...
it was like the beat of a song during band class,
just count and tap your foot on the ground slightly so you don't lose where you are while everyone is playing.
then you stopped
tapping
and
counting -
your eyes glisten
but your mind
doesn't listen.
you have lost count of the beats...
