it's okay to push people
away sometimes.
but know, that it is rare
for someone to come back
to you - to fight to stay
no matter how many times
you push them away.
just remember that the
person who fights,
really cares,
and you can't let that
person go...i've already
made that mistake once in
my life and i don't plan
on doing it again.
so, when someone does
come back again,
hold them close and
never let go like they were
the teddy bear you had as
a child that protected you
from the monsters under
your bed or the nightmares
you had, or even
your parents fighting
just down the hall.
because they might be your
only anchor in this rough
sea of people who
never did come back.
