Chapter 5~ rescue

*Major P.o.v

"Drive around the block again" monay demanded

"Still bossy I see" I said

"Still cocky and obnoxious" she said back

"Still a rude bitch" I rolled my eyes

"Still a worthless piece of shit!" she spat back

"You know what I gotta find Averi and all this back and forth ain't solving shit so shut the fuck up and just help me I tell her" I said

"Why do you even care about her?, you hurt her.Whats going on with y'all?"she repeatedly asked me

I sighed

"Leave it alone monay" I tell her.

"You like her don't you?" she asked

"Nah" I denied

"Your such a lier, I know that look major. remember when I ran away from home and you found me about to comitt sucicide.That same face you gave me, telling me to stop is the same face you have right now" she says and honestly she was right

I sighed hard

"I love her..." I admitted

Monay stared at me for a good minute

"Do you still love me?" she asked

"Monay, now is not the time" I avoided her question

"Fine" she folded her arms

I shook my head and continued to drive around

We been looking for Averi for about 2 hours and hasn't found her and it's going on after midnight

My phone ranged and it was sonny

"Wassup bruh" I answered

"Nigga we got a problem!" sonny yelled into the phone

"What?!?" I asked

"It's Seth, man that nigga on some shit major he is!" sonny yelled

"Bro slow down and tell me what's going on?" I said

"Seth robbed us and threatened us, he was looking for you, he thinks you stole his safe. where he keeps all the money, he says he got what you looking for and you got approximately 3 days to get his shit or "she" will die. By the way what is he taking about?" he said

I slammed my feet on the breaks

Major what's wrong?!?" monay jumped up

I swerved the car and did a whole 180.

"Major!" monay kept on calling but I was too focused on Averi

"Sonny, ima need you to grab all our shit and hide it" I tell him

"It's too late, his boys got it and I'm at the park hiding, they was trying to get me but I ended up escaping"he said

"Ima come get you just hang on" I said and hanged up the phone

Not even 2 minutes I was already there.

Sonny hopped in and we headed to Seth trap house

"This shit is crazy man, why would he think we took his shit!?!" sonny asked

"I don't know but if a fight is what he wants then a fight is what he is about to get!" I speeded down the road.
