The coordinates, left behind by John and Isaac, served as our guide. Sam, driven by an unyielding determination, insisted on staying in Stanford. He believed that a few days spent there could potentially unveil crucial leads about Jess' murderer. I, too, craved closure and willingly supported Sam's proposal. However, Dean, ever the pragmatist, believed our primary focus should be locating John and Isaac. Ultimately, he conceded to granting Sam and me a brief respite, recognizing the importance of our pursuit for answers.

As the days in Stanford stretched into an unexpected week, our hopes of finding leads on Jess' killer dwindled. It became apparent that our pursuit would be futile unless we followed the coordinates left by John and Isaac. With a newfound sense of purpose, we finally set off for Colorado, eager to uncover the truth. Sleep had become a distant memory for me since Jess' tragic demise, and I relied on cups of coffee to keep my weary eyes open. The meager six hours of fragmented sleep I managed to snatch were far from rejuvenating. Thankfully, Dean took charge of keeping me entertained and alert, his choice of music blaring through the stereo, keeping fatigue at bay. Meanwhile, Sam appeared unfazed by the music, comfortably dozing off in the front seat.

As the familiar tune of Foreigner's 'Hot Blooded' filled the car, I couldn't help but feel restless. "How much longer until we get there?" I asked, my curiosity getting the better of me. I reached for the map, eager to gauge our progress.

"Don't tell me you need to use the bathroom again," Dean groaned, his voice laced with equal parts annoyance and amusement. I couldn't help but smile, ready to offer a playful retort.

However, before I could utter a word, Sam jolted awake with a sharp gasp, startling both Dean and me. We exchanged worried glances as Sam blinked rapidly, trying to shake off the remnants of sleep that clung to him. He rubbed his eyes, his brows furrowing with confusion. Dean and I exchanged concerned glances, silently questioning Sam's abrupt awakening.
