𝐈 𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐌𝐘 𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍, 𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐀 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐆𝐀𝐒𝐏. Sitting up in the backseat, I glanced around, realizing that we had parked in a parking lot. Had we already reached our destination? It felt like only half an hour ago when Dean mentioned that we had about four hours left until we reached Ohio. Did I really manage to sleep for a solid four hours? Rubbing my temples, I couldn't help but question the reality of it all. I vividly remembered dreaming about Jess, Luis, and me, laughing and chatting at our favorite bar.
As I glanced up at the rearview mirror, scratching my head in confusion, I noticed Dean's gaze fixed on me. "Morning, sunshine," he greeted me with a smile. I groaned in response, my eyes shifting to the view outside the back window of the Impala. A building loomed behind us. "Sam, wake up!" Dean called out, causing me to startle and look back towards the front. Sam's head tilted back over the front seat, and I watched as his eyes fluttered open, his expression filled with confusion as he surveyed the scene. He let out a heavy sigh.
"I take it I was having a nightmare," Sam stated, his voice tinged with exhaustion.
