We track back to my pack all the way through the woods it's currently 8:40 so hopefully I won't be late. I have to admit Alpha Moon is pretty fast not nearly as fast as me though, I'm the fastest in my pack. We slow down to catch our breath. "So what's your first name?" I ask trying to pass time.
"Zander" he says shortly
"What's yours?" he asks suddenly
"Oh my name's Tala Sterling" I smile
"So what's your pack, wait lemme guess the Star pack" he guesses right
"Yeah how'd you know?" I ask curious
"Your last name gave it away, your family and pack is known for there hunting skills" he sates
"Oh I didn't know that" I say stupidly
"Just wondering how old are you? I'll tell you my age" I ask eagerly
"Um okay I'm 21" he says
"And I'm 19" I say as well
"And you said I was young" he smirks
"Wait we're almost there lets transform back" I say hurriedly
"Are you sure?" he asks
"Well yeah, we still have clothes- undergarments on " I correct myself
"Yeah but......" he shuffles
"You don't have your clothes with you!" I say shocked
"Everyone in our pack brings our clothes with us in a little bag on our back, you didn't notice did you" I explain
"Well I didn't know" he mumbles
"Okay fine stay in wolf form" I sigh
"Turn around I am going to transform" I command
"Are you sure you want me to" he says cockily
"Yes, now turn" I shout
I transform and quickly pull on my clothes, telling Zander he can turn around. I'm not very big only at the height 170 cm or 5'5 and my wolf form isn't very big either but that helps with my agility and speed. We walk up to my house with me dreading it, I'm gonna be in so much trouble. My dad has given me multiple speeches about staying in our boundaries. I knock on the door and open it because sometimes my dad has little meetings or gatherings. My dad is shocked to see a wolf next to me, and immediately asks me what's going on.
I explain and my dad kind of looks angry and upset. "Sorry Alpha Moon my daughter is a handful" he apologises, I shoot him a glare but he ignores me.
"That's alright sir, but I was hoping to discuss a punishment" he says
"Oh sure, what do you have in mind?" he asks
"Well I was thinking-" Zander starts
"You know I'm here and I need a say in this, because 1) I'm officially and adult and 2) I'm almost Luna I deserve respect" I cut in
"Okay what do you think" Zander challenges
"Well I think.....um that maybe I could not go running for a few days" I suggest
"Maybe but I want it to stick in your brain, so you remember" my father says
"I was thinking that she could help with our renovations in my pack for a week or two" Zander says
"That is actually a good idea" my dad's light blue eyes light up
"Okay good, thank you sir" Zander bows
"Tala go pack enough for a week and a half" my dad commands
"But-"
"No 'buts' go" my dad orders
"Fine" I huff
I stomp up to my room and start pack my clothes, essentials and other random stuff like books. I might as well embrace it if I have to go. I tell my dad I saying bye to Dewy and Scarlet and head out with Zander following we get a lot of curious looks.
Zander's POV
I don't know why but the sudden thought of making Tala stay at our pack as punishment came to mind and I suggested it. I don't know why but her dad easily agreed, maybe she's is really annoying and hard work. Once her father agrees Tala starts stomping up the stairs, I frown at her behaviour maybe the punishment was wrong she seems like a handful. We walk to her friends houses I never really had friends, so I don't see the point. They say goodbye then Tala hands me a shirt and pants, her friend Dewy must have let me borrow it I think.
"Okay go get changed" she ushers me to the woods
"Alright" I say
I transform and slip the clothes over me, I look around and see Tala playing with some flowers. I decide to scare her, I creep up behind her and shake her shoulders.
"What the hell" she screams
"Sorry just trying to scare you" I smile
"Wow you're tall, like really tall" she says in awe looking up at me
"Yeah I'm about 190 cm or 6'2 feet" I smirk
"Come lets go before it gets too dark to see" I start moving
The moon is really bright tonight, so we shouldn't have trouble as we still have better eyesight than humans. We arrive at my mansion at 10 and I show Tala around the place she will be staying for the next week and a half.
