Sang has spent her entire life believing she was crazy. Dreams and visions always attacked her, memories that weren't hers. She saw the beatings these boys got, the words that got thrown at them and cut their skin. She saw the thoughts that spiraled within each of their heads, and it was almost as if it cut her own skin.
But she also got to see them succeed, to enter The Academy and grow as a family. She got to see them grow happy, to finally find peace, but why did she feel so empty?
Maybe it was the fact she was suffering her own abuse at home. The fact her mother forces her to take medicine that makes her feel like a zombie, the fact she goes days without sleep and days without seeing the boys that helped her live for as long as she has.
The day she finally decides to end it is, is the day she somehow meets the men of her dreams. Will they save her in time?
