You were trying to rehearse but you were thinking about Jughead.
"Ugh." You sighed.
"Need to focus?" Cheryl asked smirking.
"Yes." You said.
"Come on I'll practice with you." She offered.
"Fine." You said and showed her the lyrics.

"Are you in focus?" Cheryl asked.
"Yeah. Thanks Cheryl." You said.
She smiled. "No problem." Then she walked away.
It was later and you were at home.
"F/N want to go to dinner with us? As a pre variety show dinner?" Mom asked.
"No I'm just going to prepare for the variety show." You said.
"Oh okay. Well remember to be there soon." Mom said.
"I will bye mom bye V." You said.
"Bye." They said.
You walked into your room and started to sing until you heard your phone buzz.
"Jughead." You murmured.
JH-"Hey F/N Betty and I found out a lot"
You-"That's good. Hey are you going to watch me perform?"
JH-"I'm going to try idk if Betty and I are going to work"
You sighed and put your phone on mute and didn't respond. You just sang out your frustrations.
It was the next day and you were walking out your room. You knew the outfit you were going to wear.
"I can't wait to see your performances. I love you both the same remember." Mom said.
"I was wondering if one of you could help me with something." Mom added.
You saw the papers in her hand.
"Are those divorce papers?" Veronica asked scared.
"No. It's a motion for the construction contract. I know both of you aren't his biggest fan right now but I was hoping if one of you would sign it." Mom said.
"Why would we need to sign it?" You asked.
"When your father was arrested he made both of you legal officers of Lodge industries. Surprise." Mom announced.
You and Veronica crossed your arms.
"Two out of three signatures are needed for the contract." Mom said.
"Which your father wants to give." Mom added.
"And you want my help to give it to your boyfriend." Veronica said.
"And I was going to apologize to you." Veronica muttered.
"If one of us signs that will you stop seeing Fred Andrews?" Veronica asked.
"Ronnie I can't agree to that." Mom said.
"In that case Mom I'm sorry but no. F/N and I will not sign it." Veronica said. "However you rationalize what you are doing with Archie's Dad I don't want any part." Veronica said mad and she stormed away.
You looked at the papers and you sighed.
"F/N." Mom began.
You sighed and looked away and held your hand out.
She handed you the papers and you signed your name.
"Veronica is going to kill me." You sighed.
"You did a good thing." Mom said.
You sighed and went into your room to get ready.
You put on a sparkly purple dress with matching flats and a sparkly purple headband. You straightened your H/C hair and you applied light makeup.
"I'm going to go." You said.
"I'll be there soon." Mom said.
You nodded and went to the variety show. You had an uneasy feeling about Jughead. But you put those aside to be able to perform.
Kevin was announcing it and everyone clapped You were playing with your bracelet.
Josie, Veronica, and the other cats were performing.
They did an amazing performance and that made you even more nervous.
"I feel love." They sang.
"I don't." You thought.
"F/N break a leg out there." Cheryl said.
"How are you back here?" You asked.
"Pulled a few strings." She said with a smirk.
"I'll do my best." You smiled.
"I know." She said.
You were breathing in and out. Archie was next so you had time to prepare.
Archie sat down and looked at you and smiled and you smiled back and gave him a thumbs up. Archie began to perform and it was amazing.
Everyone clapped.
"Give it up for F/N Lodge!" Kevin announced and everyone clapped as you went on stage.
You looked at Archie and Veronica and they smiled. You looked into the sea of people and saw your Mom but no Jughead. You sighed.
You breathed in and the beat started to play. You started to sing.

You held out the last you and you smiled at the crowd.
The crowd started to clap and cheer.
You smiled and waved.
"Give it up for F/N!" Kevin announced.
Veronica hugged you and so did Archie.
"You did great." They said.
You looked and saw Cheryl and she smiled.
"Thanks guys." You smiled.
You walked out next to Archie and everyone was cheering. "F/N! Archie! F/N! Archie!"
You and Archie were smiling.
"Archie." You heard Val said.
Archie walked over and hugged her and kissed her.
"Wooo!" You shouted.
You saw Veronica and she grabbed you and you two walked to Mom and Fred.
"Hi Mom." Veronica said.
"Hi Mr Andrews." You and Veronica said.
"What's going on?" Veronica asked.
"Well your mother you know the contract was awarded to Andrew's construction." Fred said.
You smiled and Veronica looked mad.
"The buyer whoever they are approved us thanks to my lucky charm." Fred smiled looking at Mom and hugged her.
"Congratulations Mr Andrews." You and Veronica said and he smiled.
"Looks like you won." Veronica said sadly.
"Excuse me." Veronica said and walked away.
You looked back at her and sighed sadly.
