You were cuddling on the couch with your boyfriend, John, watching a movie. He checks his watch, then widens his eyes and pulls away from you.
"I'm sorry, babe, I forgot I have something to do something something today." He says, kissing my forehead. I whine.
"But Joooohn!" I whine, extending his name. "You said it was an us day!"
"I know what I said, [name/guy name], but I need to study with Alex for an exam today!" He says. (Sort of College AU) "Look, when I get home, I'll make it up to you~"
"Hmm~" I hum softly. "I'll be waiting then~"
"Bye!" He says, grabbing the car keys and heading out. I wave to him from the couch, and then the door shuts. Instant boredom ensues.
I sit on the couch, pondering if a I should watch the rest of the movie without John. No, he loves it way too much. He'd hate me if I did. I wandered around the house, trying to find something to do. For an hour. I pretty much waited for John the entire time. I trie playing on my phone, but didn't. Eventually I just turned on music and listened. I started nodding my head to it until I started full out dancing.
~~John's pov~~
I walked up to my house, about to open the door when an hear music from inside. I hesitantly walk in, to see my boyfriend dancing and bouncing on all the furniture, singing to the lyrics.
"You know I talk too much!" He sings, not knowing I was there. "Honey come puts your lips on min and shut me up! We can blame it all on human nature-"
He turns around and meets my eyes. I smirk. "J-John!" He says in surprise. "I-I didn't know you were home..."
"Well, know you do." I say, smiling.
"How long have you been here?" He asks. I'm about to answer, but then he starts rambling on. "Oh god, you must've been there for forever. God, I made a fool of myself, didn't I? Oh, I must've looked horrible and weird and-"
I cut [name/guy name] with a kiss, and after a few seconds he gives in, wrapping his arms around my neck. We pulls away, and he was blushing like crazy.
"You talk too much." I say, and he just nods and pulls me in for another kiss as we drop onto the couch.
