It was two days after the accident and I hadn't been out of my room.

I didn't go to school and I only ate once a day.

I was wallowing away in my sadness of loosing my only friends.

"y/n!" My mum called "someones here to see you!"

I groaned and got up.

It was the first time I had been downstairs in two days and my legs weren't used to walking yet so I almost fell down the stairs a few times.

"what mum' I signed

"Oh your finally up" she says with a smile "Look who's here"

'Mum I don't want to-'

But my arms immediately dropped when I saw who it was.

I stand there for a second, just staring until I race down the

My mind was almost exploding with so many questions.

I signed to my mum 'i'm just going to get my pad and pen'

I ran upstairs as mum showed Liu to the living room.

I grabbed my pad and pen and ran back down to the living room.

Liu and mum were talking about something when I walked back in. I sat next to Liu and he looked at me with a warm smile.

'How have you been?' I write

"Oh, yeah it's been fine" he said "arms are still sore though"

'what happened to your arms?' I wrote

He looked down and his bangs covered his eyes. He then took a deep breath and looked back at me.

"I'l tell you later" He said with an almost forced smile.

'Did you hear about Jeff?' I ask

"Yeah, I went to visit him yesterday" he said "he's doing well"

I sigh 'good' i wrote 'How did you get out?'

"Uhh, the witnesses at the party told the police that Randy confessed to starting the fight, they decided to let me out" He said with a smile

'Thats a relief'

We talked for a while until his phone started ringing.

"Sorry i gotta take this, it's my mum" He said as he stood up and walked out of the room

I smile as he does and look at my mum.

She had a smile on her face.

'what are you so happy about?' I sign

"Just happy that you are dear" she replied

I smile and roll my eyes.

Liu walks back in after a minute and sits back down.

"Anything to eat dears?" Mum asked

I nod 'just a sandwich' I say

"Sandwich for you Liu?" she asked

"Yes please Mrs l/n" he says with a smile

We talk for a little bit longer until mum comes back in with some sandwiches.

I nod and smile. "thank you" Liu says

We eat the food in silence as my mum makes herself a salad.

"So, y/n?" Liu said after a while "I-I was going to go visit Jeff after school on most days. Would you like to come with me?"

I nod happily and we continue to eat and talk until Liu had to go home.

"So I'll see you tomorrow?" Liu said with a smile

I nod and hug him goodbye.

"He is a nice boy" Mum said
