The next few days of school weren't any better than when I was alone.

People would walk passed Liu and called him a prison reject.

I didn't enjoy watching others get bullied,  especially when I couldn't do anything about it.

We would try to avoid as many people as we could, but lunch soon came around and I couldn't sit in the bathroom, so we sat in the corner of the cafeteria and ate our lunch, talking and joking a bit.

People would walk past us and dump something on us.

Apple cores, empty milk cartons, banana peels.

We would just brush them off and continue to talk.

Classes went all the same and we were soon on the bus to the hospital where Jeff was.

We talked about random things on the bus and would laugh every now and then.

At the Hospital

"Jeffry Woods please?" Liu asked the lady at the front desk

"Oh yes" She typed something on her computer then turned back to Liu and I "Room 244 floor 3"

"Thanks" Liu said

We got to the elevator 'out of order' read the sign on the front.

We groaned and made our way to the stairs and lazily climbed them.

Floor 3, room 244

Finally, we made it.

We panted as we walked into the small room.

There was a bed and a night stand with flowers and cards that said 'get well soon' and stuff.

Jeff sat up in the bed, he had bandages wrapped around his head, concealing his face.

"Hey Jeff" Liu said as he pulled up two seats for him and I to sit.

"I brought someone who wanted to see you"

Jeff turned his head slightly so he was 'looking' at Liu

"I brought y/n" He said

Jeff nodded and a got out my note pad.

'How are you feeling?' I wrote and showed Liu

"y/n asked if your feeling ok" Liu asked

Jeff nodded slowly.

I sigh with relief.

"Are you bored here?" Liu asked

Jeff nodded again.

"Well I'll be coming out every day after school" Liu said happily "and y/n wants to come some days too"

I nod even though Jeff can't see me.

We talked a bit, until my mum texted and I had to go home.

I hug Liu and wave goodby as I walk out of the door.

I look at my phone and continue to text my mum

Mum- Do you need me to pick you up?

Me- Yes please

Mum- Ill be there in 10

Me- K

I wait outside for about 10-15 mins until I see my mums car.

I jump in "hello dear" Mum says with a beaming smile.

I put on my seatbelt and lean my head against the window.

I watched as we drove past the thick woods that held so many secrets.

I just wanted my life to go back to normal.

Normal?

Was it normal before?
