Requested by the lovely JEVIE828

You loved everything about her. Her beautiful eyes. Her soft skin, and her cute freckles. You loved the way her hair fell out of its neat braided bun, and how she smiled whenever you made a joke. Evie Frye was certainly the one for you.

It was painful, loving Evie so much, but not being able to share it with her. You feared what she would think of you. What Jacob would think of you. Would they kick you off the train? It was too risky to confess, so you admired Evie from a distance, occasionally sending her an anonymous letter confessing your love. She dismissed all you letters, however, thinking that they were pranks from Jacob. But they were not.

You cringed as you watched her crumple and throw away another letter. It hurt, but you smiled and let it go.

"Damn it, Jacob!" She shouted to herself, "(Y/N), that's it. I'm going to tell Jacob to piss off, and you're coming with me." She said. You felt your blood run cold.

"You know, Evie, maybe you shouldn't do that." You said, "You know that he'll deny it, he won't apologize." Evie shook her head.

"If that moron doesn't apologize, I'll just kill him." She said, "Come on, (Y/N). You'll be my witness against him." You only nodded, and followed her into Jacob's cart, looking at your feet. Evie slid open Jacob's door violently, making a loud BANG!

"Jacob Frye!" She yelled, "Enough with the fake love letters!" Jacob only put up his hands in surrender.

"I've no idea what you're talking about, dear sister." He said. You felt like crying. Evie was going to find out. Evie huffed loudly, and turned on her heel.

"Jacob Frye, I swear, if I get one more letter, you're dead. It's not funny!" Evie said, and slammed the door again, leaving you and Jacob alone in his cart in her rage. You took a deep breath, knowing that Jacob would ask you about the letters.

"(Y/N)... Do you... Do you have... Feelings? For Evie?" He asked, his brows furrowing. You began to cry, and Jacob gave you a pitiful look.

"Jacob, I... I want to confess to her, but I know she doesn't feel the same! She'll never love me back!" You cried. Jacob hushed you, trying desperately to calm you.

"(Y/N), how do you know she won't love you back if you haven't confessed?" He asked. That was a good point, but you frowned at him, still crying.

"Because I just know!" You snapped. Jacob handed you a handkerchief from his pocket, and you wiped your eyes with it as you calmed down.

"If you want, I can help you to confess." Offered Jacob hopefully. You shook your head. He would only make things worse. You never should've told him. You turned and left the cart to go to your own, away from Evie. All you did was cry until you went to sleep.

The next morning, the air was fresh. You went to Evie's cart, as you do every morning, to chat over tea. Of course, there she was, sitting at her desk and reading. You smiled, and greeted her curtly.

"Good morning, Evie." You said, and she gave you a nod, too absorbed in her book to speak. When she finally put it down, she offered you a seat on her bed.

"How are things, (Y/N)?" She asked. You smiled.

"They are fine, thank you." You replied. But things were not fine. They were the furthest thing from fine. You sat in silence for a minute, when you heard Jacob come in. He locked the door behind him. Oh, shit.

"Good morning, dear sister." He greeted Evie. She frowned back at him.

"Mornings are never good when you interrupt them." She replied snappily, "What do you want this time?" You froze, nervousness rising in your chest.

"Well, it's not me who wants something. (Y/N) has something important to tell you." He said. Evie turned to you, but you said nothing. To hurry it along, Jacob opened his big mouth again.

"It seems that (Y/N) has some feelings for you. It was her who sent the confession letters, in fact. Not me." He said. You wanted so desperately to disappear, to run, to hide, but Jacob had the door locked. There was no escape.

"(Y/N), tell me he's lying." She said. You only shook your head no, and to Evie's shock, you began to cry.

"JACOB, GET OUT!" Yelled Evie. He obliged, tipped his hat, unlocked the door and left, smiling smugly all the while. You still cried, tears rolling down your cheeks. You should've never told Jacob. This was a bad idea.

"(Y/N), I had no idea... I'm so sorry." Said Evie, as she reached out and gave your shoulder a gentle squeeze, "You should've just told me." You breathed in deeply, trying to calm down.

"I know this changes things between us, Evie!" You yelled, breathing heavily, "Just reject me now so we can move on!" You cried. Evie smiled a small, comforting smile.

"Why would this ever change things between us, and why would I ever reject you?" She said, shocking you. Did she really mean that?

"Because... You don't love me back." You said. Evie chuckled in return.

"Of course I love you! You're my favorite person in the world! I love everything about you! I would never do anything to hurt you or make you cry. I can't believe that you thought I would hate you just because of this." She said. Her words were comforting, and sent a cool rush through your body.

"(Y/N), I'm sorry I ignored your letters." She said, "If you ever have something you want to tell me, let me know! But definitely don't tell Jacob. He's an idiot." You both laughed, and you wiped your stray tears away with your sleeve.

"I'm sorry, Evie, but I have business to take care of." You said, "Goodbye." Evie smiled back at you, and then gave you a peck on the cheek. You turned bright red, smiling and blushing harder than you ever have before.

"Until later, (Y/N)." Said Evie. You nodded, and left Evie's cart. Upon leaving, you saw a dark figure standing in front of the door. It was Jacob. Couldn't he just leave you alone?

"So, (Y/N), how'd it go with Evie?" He asked smugly, to which you said nothing, and then promptly slapped him hard across the face. You walked back to your cart briskly.

"Oi!" Jacob yelled after you, "That wasn't necessary at all!" You laughed to yourself, still giddy about Evie accepting your confession. You shut the door of your cart and sighed deeply. Things between you and Evie weren't going to change... They were only going to get better.

From then on, you had a great relationship with Evie. You loved her, and she loved you back. Of course, you continued to ignore Jacob and his annoying comments. You and Evie were made for each other. That was the important thing.

I can't believe I'm on my seventh one shot! I'm flying through these! This one shot was a little different from the others. It was a very creative idea, requested by @JEVIE828, who has been nothing but sweet and incredible. Give her some love! Next, I think I'll do another Jacob, to make up for dissing him so heavily in this one. Cheers! ~❤️❤️❤️❤️ Natasha
