"Aww, man!" Said Connor, "Look at you, little guy!" You laughed. Connor was once again doting over the new German Shepherd that you had adopted from the local shelter. The puppy was beautiful, with chocolate brown eyes and a lovely brown coat, signature colors for German Shepherds.
"Connor, do you have any name ideas?" You asked, "I'm stumped." Connor thought for a bit before a name came to him.
"The puppy's name will be Konwaronhia:wi!" He declared, "I think that's a good, strong name." You nodded slowly.
"Yeah... Uhm... I like it, but..." You stammered, but Connor interrupted you.
"I was just teasing, (Y/N). How about... Dakota?" He asked, "Do you like that name, buddy?" The puppy wagged his tail in approval, and so his name was Dakota.
Dakota went everywhere with you and Connor, except for *ahem* the bedroom. He was just the cutest little puppy to have around. He went with you to every road trip, and sat on the couch and snuggled during every movie. This German Shepherd was acting like he was a lap dog.
When you and Connor had your first child, (C/N) two years later, Dakota would always stand by her and protect her. What a sweetheart. Just like Connor.

Oh la la! This was pretty cute! When I was younger I used to have a German Shepard named Dakota, so I thought this name would be only fitting for a dog in this story. In other dog news, I recently adopted ANOTHER German Shepard, but this one's name is Aleksei. He's so cute! Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this one shot. Peace out! ~❤️❤️❤️❤️ Natasha
