Chapter 03: Sisters

When the bell finally rang I stood up and waited for Allison by the door, when she caught up to me we started approaching her locker which luckily enough is only two down from mine.

"So, where did you live before you moved here?" I asked as we got to the lockers.

"San Francisco, only lived there for about a year though." Allison responded.

"Wow only a year?" She nodded. "I have lived in Beacon literally my whole life, trust me, you will get bored pretty quickly."

"If I get to stay for a while then it's great." She said as she slammed her locker shut, only to reveal Lydia marching towards us.

My eyes widened. "Okay, I apologise in advance for what is about to happen. Just smile and wave." Allison looks at me weirdly for a moment but soon stops when Lydia gets to us.

"That jacket is absolutely killer." Lydia says. Of course, she doesn't even say hello. "Where'd you get it?"

Allison looks at me for help and I just shrug, she has to get used to Lydia sometime I guess.

"Uh, my mom was a buyer for a boutique back in San Francisco." She explains. I glance at Allison, she is a Lydia natural. She will be fine in Beacon Hills, I know it.

"And you are my new best friend." Lydia says to Allison. I feel like its a cheap jab at me for our little spat this morning. So, like any normal person, I cough like a mad man to get Lydia's attention.

Both of them look at me, Allison smiling appreciatively that I got Lydia's attention away from her and Lydia is smiling but beneath that smile is her wanting to rip me to shreds I just know it.

"Oh, when did you get here Amelia?" Lydia said sweetly, Allison looks between me and Lydia confused.

"Well, sister dearest, I was here the whole time. I wonder why you couldn't see me?" I said, playing dumb. Two can play at this game Lydia.

"Wait, wait." Allison cut in, making both me and Lydia turn to Allison at the same time. "Sisters?"

"Yeah." We answered in unison. Ah, now is a great time to activate twin power to freak Allison out.

"Wow, I would of never have guessed that, ever." Allison said, still dumbfounded about this new information.

"Well you would have guessed if you saw our last names." Lydia said matter-of-factly.

I nodded in agreement with Lydia. "Yeah, that or the fact we live together." I said with a shrug of my shoulders.

"Hey Lyd, I'm sorry about this morning I just-," I was interrupted by Jackson walking over to us and snaking his arms around Lydia's waist and pecking her on the lips. I sigh and look at the ceiling, it suddenly just became very interesting. "Yeah... Never mind."

"So, this weekend there's a party." Lydia states.

Wait party? Damn I forgot about that.

"A party?" Allison asks.

"Yeah, Friday night. You should come." Jackson says. It really is taking me all of my strength to not say something to him right now.

"Uh... It's family night this Friday so I can't." Allison says. I bet Jackson scared her off. "Thanks for asking."

"Well, anyway. Right now you should come hang out with us." Lydia exclaims cheerfully.

"We have practise and everyone will be there. It's the school sport." Jackass tells Allison.

"Like football?" She asks and I immediately grimace of the thought of the Lacrosse team playing football, now that would end badly. Although it would be highly entertaining.

I kinda zone out of the conversation and look around the hall. Further down the hall I see Puppy and Buzz staring over at us, Puppy is obviously looking longingly at Allison and Buzz... Yeah Im not quite sure what he is looking at but I can't help but admire his eyes, if they are that nice from over where I am I wonder how nice they would be up close.

I look to my side and see that Jackson is bragging about Lacrosse to poor Allison, so I decide to see what my new English buddies are up to. Lifting my bag onto my shoulder I walk towards the two boys who somehow don't see me coming because when I lean on the locker next to them they jump impressively high.

"Sup." I say bluntly, gaging their reactions.

"Uh... Hey?" Puppy says. He seems to be questioning why I am here, God can't a person make new friends around here?

"I'm like really sorry if this comes across as rude, but I need to know your names, you-." I point to Puppy. "Are known as Puppy in my mind, don't ask why, you just are. And you-," I point to Buzz whose eyes are crazy wide right now, but it is great as I get a closer inspection of his eyes. They do not disappoint. "Are known as Buzz because of the whole buzz-cut thing you got going on."

They just stare at me for a moment, mouths agape. I'm honestly really hoping I haven't just completely insulted them, that would really put a kink to my new friends plan.

Puppy is the first to speak up, putting a  small grin on his face and sticking his hand out in front of him. "I'm Scott McCall." I take hold of his hand and shake it with a little laugh and look around him at Buzz, who Scott is also looking at.

"Uh... I'm uh, Stiles Stilinksi. And you. You are Amelia Martin, and are actually talking to me." He says, blowing a puff of air out of his mouth.

"Oh God, please do not call me Amelia. Call me Mia." I say whilst smiling at them both.

The bell rings and Scott shuts his locker, I stand up straight from leaning on the locker next to his.

"You guys are on the team right?" I ask and they both nod.

"Well we are on it but have never actually made it onto the field yet." Scott says with a sad look in his eyes whilst Stiles just shrugs and looks like he is used to the fact they haven't played yet.

"Well, never say never. I'm sure you guys will make it out there one day. If you ever need me to cause Jackson any harm then please, do not hesitate to ask I am all for it. Adiós." I wave goodbye to them and make my way down the hall to deal with the rest of today's hell.
