She hides her true feelings
by smiling
and laughing.
You wouldn't realize it
not even one bit
and thinking to yourself, she's just a happy wit.
But when you look closely
that's when you see it clearly
her true self fully.
Fully vulnerable
the pain in her eyes incomparable
some people think it's just too intolerable.
Some people aren't willing enough
some think it's just too rough
a girl like her, all fucked up.
Some remained
some listened
and some stayed.
But it didn't last
they stopped that fast
leaving her with attitude and caste.
The world is cruel
for a jewel
like her, only seen as a fool.
Abused to the extent
made her disoriented
with herself, now in the present.
She's already lost
already exhausted
at what cost?
Everything
that more can life bring?
when she's already broken and crying?
In the end, she still hides
keeping her feelings aside
then smiles.
