to fall for Wendy instead.
Gatsby was wealthy
with his dying love for Daisy
yet she married another man after all
while Gatsby waited for Daisy's call.
King Arthur's quest to the Holy Grail
Ultimately failed
For his love for Guinevere who loved Lancelot
was the spell of a downfall for Camelot.
They exist in the fictional world
the same goes with the real world
unrequited love
a tragic from heaven above.
Why can't it be
like Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth's love story
though this is real life
it will never be like theirs alike.
There's no harm at hoping
but it's a loss for when you wait for nothing
to wish they would look at you
the same way you look at them too.
We fall in love for the forbidden
for the taken
for the person who doesn't love you back
and for the person, we can never have.
