So like usual, I did my morning routine and left for work. This whole crush thing is kinda crazy for me cause the feelings I'm feeling are really strong. I haven't had a crush on someone since I was 17 years old, 9 years ago. Thinking a guy's hot? Yeah, but an actual crush? Nope. I always hated having crushes cause I always ended up acting stupid in front of them. Honestly, I'm getting nervous just thinking about Vincent. Uh! I'm acting like a teenager! Oh, I just got in the parking lot. Okay Kristen, calm the heck down... I walk in and the first thing I see is Vincent talking to Hodgins about something and Hodgins looking annoyed and rolling his eyes. When Hodgins sees me, he whispers something to the blabbering Vincent and Vincent instantly stops talking. Oh, I see a secret. Hmm. I start walking and since I have amazing hearing, I can hear them even though their whispering.
"I'm gonna go talk to Kristen." Hodgins says.
"No no no no!" Vincent says.
"To talk to her about the case..." Hodgins says slowly.
I know when Hodgins is lying and he is right now, so that means he's probably gonna tell me what's going on. Yes!
"Oh...alright then." Vincent says and walks away.
Then Hodgins does a fast walk towards me and he has a big smile.
"Hey." I say.
"Vincent is annoying me." Hodgins says.
"Really? How?" I ask.
"He won't shut up about you." He says.
My heart fluttered.
"Me?" I ask.
"Yeah, the guys a love sick puppy." He says, looking back a Vincent.
"What did he say?" I ask, trying not to look interested, but failed cause Hodgins did a double take.
"Oh my god. You like him too." He says.
"Pfffff." I say.
"You do!"He says.
"Well...maybe." I say.
He starts fast walking and I don't know why until...
"Vincent!" He yells.
My eyes turn wide and I book it.
He gets exactly in front of Vincent.
"Vincent, Kristen-" Hodgins got interrupted by me jumping on his back and putting my hand over his mouth.
"Yay, piggy back ride! Right Hodgins?" I ask.
He shakes his head, no, like crazy. Damn.
"He means yes anyway, to Brennan's lab, driver!" I say and he takes me there cause he knows I won't get off until he takes me.
When we finally get there, he practically throws me on the couch.
"You don't want me to tell him, but come on, he likes you too." He says.
"You can't tell him." I say.
"Fine I won't tell him...right now. But later, I will cause you can't jump on me if you don't see me..." He says smiles evilly and walks
away.
So...either way, Hodgins is gonna tell him today...Great.
