I dedicate this chapter to AmyBonita49. I don't have any children yet but I totally agreed with you when you said in chapter 7, "Don't mess with my children". I don't want anyone messing with my siblings so i definitely wouldn't want someone to mess with my future children. In addition, I am so happy that you like my book.
Sammy POV
We arrived at my house and called Anthony, Christina, Katherine, and Danny to the living room
I turned to Annabel and said, "So I guess I am just going to say it" and I turned to face the others "Annabel and I" and before I can finish my sentence both Katherine and Christina shouted in unison " are dating again!!!"
" girls calm down. If you would just let me finish you would know that". Then I get interrupted once again
" please tell us if you are getting back together or not" Katherine begs
" Yeah, tell us now. Don't drag this out, you are literally killing me right now. Just finish your sentence" Christina agrees
"Geesh, Annabel and I are getting married. We are going to stick with the original date, so we have to make arrangements quick before it's too late." I finally get to say
"Oh my gosh, I have to go back to work but in my spare time I can help Annabel plan the wedding from all the way in DC." Katherine offers
" Yeah and I can help with anything you need Annabel. Since Katherine can't physically be here, I will fill in for her when you are visiting the caterers and etc. OMG. This is so exciting!!!" Christina states
Annabel POV
Katherine and Christina excitement rubbed off on me until Christina had to ruin it. Thanks a lot Christina (I think in my head sarcastically)
" and Annabel; the other wildcats will be so thrilled when they hear this. They will definitely want to help preparing for your wedding so Katherine don't worry you won't have to help Annabel all on your own." Christina finished her sentence
Then Katherine gave me this disapproving look and then said to me fake smiling
" Yeah, the more the merrier right Annabel"
" yes of course " I say with a fake smile
Then Christina agreed with Katherine's statement
" Annabel, can you help me with something in the kitchen." My sister asks while walking towards their kitchen
" I am sure you can find it" I insist
" But sweetie, the kitchen is so big, and you know it better than me so please come help me now."
"You have been here for 3 weeks, so I think you know it well enough" I say
Before she responds, Sammy tells me
"Bellissima, just go help her. I bet it won't take that long. I am actually going to go take a shower, so I will see all of you guys later"
"Yeah, I am getting tired. Annabel and Sammy, I am happy for both of you. I love you guys" Anthony says
Then Anthony hugs Sammy and I hear him whisper to Sammy that "I guess you were right fratello maggiore (older brother)." and Sammy just nodded
Christina and Danny also congratulated us on our impending nuptials before heading up to their rooms.
Since everybody left I sighed and finally followed my sister into the kitchen. Once we walked in Katherine asks
" What the hell was that?"
" What is What?" I play dumb
" Why haven't you told Christina that the Wildcats don't want you to have anything to do with her brother"
" Because it will break her heart" I confess
" Well it's going to break her heart once she finds out that the wildcats would not be helping with the wedding and that they don't support your marriage to her brother because they think he and his whole family including her are psychopaths" she tells me
" Okay. That's a little bit harsh." I say
"But you know it's true" she tells me
"well that's what they thought previously, but you never know they might have changed their opinion throughout the course of this engagement"
"You mean the engagement that they all believe was fake and a way to get back at the Italian wicked witch from the west."
"Ugg. Why me?" I ask frustrated
"Okay, Annabel calm down. You are their friends, so you know them well. You know them better than me so ask yourself if you honestly believe that they will be accepting of you and Sammy marrying."
" ugh, Katherine I honestly don't know. I am leaning to the side of no they will not be happy or accepting. However, we are best friends and they do really care about me so there is a possibility that they might just accept him because of me kind of like dad did."
"Then I suggest you meet with them right now and find out. Tell them how you honestly feel about all of this. Tell them the truth. If they still don't change their minds than you have no choice but to confess their true feelings to Christina. If they have changed their minds about you getting back together with Sammy, then that's great and Christina is none the wiser.
" Fine. I will do what you say since you tend to give me great advice. I will keep you posted. I love you" I said and hugged my sister before leaving the house
When I was in the car driving I thought to myself
"God, I hope that they change their mind. I can't deal with anymore drama"
Do you think Annabel will have to tell Christina what her friends truly think of her and her family. Or do you think Annabel's friends will accept her decision and help plan her wedding. Are you surprised that Annabel never told Christina what her friends actually thinks of Christina's family?
