Tony Stark // Iron Man -

It was another one of the many late nights the two of you were spending together at Stark Tower. You were still working on a project that never seemed to end. When you eventually passed the half-way mark at two the next morning, Tony insisted that you stayed the rest of the night and had the next day off.

"No, Mr Stark," you replied, rubbing your eyes and staring into the glare of the computer screen. The words didn't even make sense anymore and you had no idea what you were doing. "I can't afford to take any time out - not now."

He snapped his fingers and JARVIS turned off your computer monitor. "(Y/N), you're gonna make yourself ill. Go to bed, I'll have Happy set up a room. I can finish this."

"Tony. I. Said. No!"

"Tony, huh?" he chuckled to himself. "That's new."

"Sorry, Mr Stark...I'm just tired."

Tony gave you a small smile then called JARVIS to attention. "Can you notify Happy that Miss (Y/L/N) will need a room set up for her as soon as possible and -"

You cut him off. "No, JARVIS, that's not necessary". You turned to Tony with a look of determination on your face. "I'll just take the couch in here".

He walked with you over to the old, black leather couch and pulled a blanket out from behind it. When he looked at you, you were standing next to him with one eyebrow raised. He shoved your upper arm playfully then exclaimed, "What? I like to sleep in here sometimes".

"Okay, Boss, wake me up if you have any problems".

Without thinking, you leaned in and let your lips brush gently against his. You thought nothing of it until you pulled away and met his eyes. Seeing the shock and confusion made you remember where you were and you instantly gasped and began apologising.

"Stop," he cut you off then kissed you back.

Steve Rogers // Captain America -

The two of you had just returned from your first proper date. It had been the perfect day.

Tony had let you both borrow one of his many classic cars, you'd driven through the city and into the countryside then had a picnic prepared by Pepper the night before. It had been magical. You'd wished that it would never end.

He walked you to your sleeping quarters in the Avengers compound that evening and, once you reached the door, he looked at you awkwardly. It was as if he didn't know whether to hug you, kiss you or shake your hand. He'd hardly had any practice over the years.

You were about to make the decision for him and pull him into a hug when he leaned forward to kiss you on the cheek. Because he hadn't been expected your sudden movement, his lips crashed into yours with such unexpected force that you fell back into your door. He grabbed onto your arm to hold you up, his lips still pressed against yours, as you were sandwiched awkwardly between his muscular torso and the wooden door frame.

When he thought that things couldn't be any further from what he had planned, Tony passed you both and wolf-whistled. "Didn't know you had it in ya, Captain!"

Thor Odinson -

"Why the actual fu- " you shouted as the wrench that had previously been dangling from the underside of the tractor you'd been fixing thudded down onto your ribcage.

"Lady (Y/L/N), are you in distress?" a deep yet gentle voice called out from beside the tractor.

"Just a little bit. Don't worry, I'm fine, just go back inside the house."

You rolled your eyes then picked the wrench up, moving your hand back into place. You thought that he'd gone until he spoke up again. "I cannot simply leave a maiden in distress. I shall go and bring you the man with the weaponized harp".

"Do NOT disturb Clint! Or else!"

He kept talking so you dropped the wrench on the ground beside you and rolled out from where you were laying. You got to your feet and glared at the man towering over you. "Thor, I. Am. Fine."

"Glad to hear it," the blond said with a cheerful grin. Before you could dodge it, he gently kissed you on the forehead. As you stood in shock, he bounded back into the house like the happy puppy he was.

Clint Barton // Hawkeye -

It had been a couple of weeks since the New York incident and, in celebration of the Avengers' good work, Tony was throwing a party at Stark Towers.

Clint - momentarily forgetting that the host was a massive ass - invited you to be his plus one for the evening. Now here you stood, wearing a fancy dress and talking openly to his closest friends.

You were sitting on a sofa between Natasha and Thor, letting them tell you about Clint's worst moments and eagerly listening for ammunition later. You fully intended to make use of the horrific stories you were hearing; be it in an argument or just for fun.

When it was getting late and the only people left were yourself and the Avengers, you got up and began to say your goodbyes - citing an early shift at work as the reason you needed to head out. At first, Tony wanted to send you back home in a car - wildly unhappy at the idea of you walking back to your apartment - but you batted him away, promising to call for a taxi. One by one, they each pulled you in for hugs.

"Lady (Y/N), you must come back soon!" Thor announced, squeezing you tightly. He had grown to like you over the course of the night, amused by how normal you were.

Clint stepped up to walk you to the door and, as you hugged him in front of all his friends and coworkers, he pulled you in for a kiss, half-drunk. You're eyes widened as he did so but you didn't make any effort to stop him. When he pulled away, he looked shocked too; like he'd surprised even himself.

Tony stepped forwards, chuckling as he clapped his hands. "Please don't tell me that that was your first kiss." When he saw the look in both your eyes, he knew that he was right. He sighed and rubbed at his temples. "Jesus Christ, Clint - what a way to woo a girl. Don't take notes, Steve."

Bruce Banner // Hulk -

"Agent (Y/L/N)!" someone shouted on comms. "Jesus Christ, (Y/N)!"

"Heya, Rogers," you replied, ducking behind an overturned car.

Captain America huffed on his end of the line then bit back with, "I told you not to come to the airport. It was a direct order ".

You shot your pistol at Tony and missed him, ducking back before he could spot you on the tarmac. As you waited for him to start a lecture, you darted behind a wall. When he didn't speak, you did. "I don't like orders. You should know that by now".

Rogers started to talk again but you felt something - no, someone - rip out your earpiece and throw it to the ground. You moved to fire your weapon but the person in front of you made you stop. It was Bruce. The same Bruce who had been MIA for months.

Silently seething with anger, you holstered your gun and struck him hard in the face with your open palm. The area turned green slightly then faded as he raised his hand to his cheek. "Ow! What was that for?!"

"What was that... What was that for? " you yelled, not caring about drawing attention to your location. "You've been missing for months and haven't even cared enough to let me know that your alive! I thought you were dead out there..."

He stopped you from talking by placing a finger against your lips. You could hear the telltale hum of Rhodes' suit on the other side of the wall. Still remaining silent, you moved his hand away from your face and leaned into him, stepping up on your tiptoes and intertwining your fingers behind his neck. Then, as your surroundings melted away, you kissed him and he kissed you back.
