It was just minutes later and Josh and Maya were at the Patrick Kerr Memorial Skatepark.
Maya took a deep breathe while she had no idea what she was gonna do.
Josh threw her a helmet before getting a skateboard.
They went over to some other kids and Maya knew they knew Josh well.

"Hey guys," Josh said greeting everyone.
"Who is this?" Andrew asked.
"This is Maya Hart. She's a close family friend," Josh said.
"Are you any good?" Jasmine asked.
"I have done it a few times but we'll have to see how good I actually am."
"She can learn. Riley said she is a quick learner," Josh said.
"Okay let's go," Andrew said.

Everyone went to the planks and started to ride.
Maya sat down for a second not actually knowing where to fit in.
Soon enough Jasmine is sitting next to her.

"So how much do you actually know about skating?" Jasmine asked.
"Not enough. You?" Maya asked as she pulled her leg up to her face.
"Nothing. Wish I knew something," Jasmine said.
"Well why don't we try to get something out of you then?" Maya asked.

She stood up and then she helped Jasmine up.

"How old are you actually?" Jasmine asked.
"Fifteen," Maya said as she put her helmet on.
"Same looks like we're the only young one's. You coming to school here or just hanging with Joshua?" Jasmine asked as she also put on her helmet.
"I'm looking at a few options so maybe. Okay. You ready?" Maya asked.
"Yip," Jasmine said.

Maya and Jasmine immediately got on both the boards and the ramp.
Of course Jasmine did struggle so after five minutes she gave up sitting down.

"You done?" Maya asked.
"Yeah. Show me what you've got," Jasmine said.
"Okay let's so what that is," Maya said.

She stood at the top of the ramp.
She looked down not just at the many people but also at the kids going back and forward.
She was at the other side of the park and Josh saw her.

"What the hell is she doing?" Josh asked and rushed to Jasmine.
"What is..."
"Think she knows what she's doing," Jasmine said and Josh walked over to the ramp.

But unfortunately for him it was too late.
Maya was already at it and definitely knowing what she is doing.
Josh sat down next to Jasmine looking at the fifteen year old having the time of her life.
He can't remember when was the last time he met a girl who was even better than him.
Maya got to the top and went over to the others.

"That was AMAZING," Jasmine said.
"Yeah. That was probably some of the best skateboarding I saw in awhile. Champion at it or something?" Josh asked making Maya smile.
"Nope. I used to do it with some old friends before I met Riley," Maya said and took her helmet off.
"But this is the first time I've actually dine it on a ramp. That was awesome," Maya said.
"I am truly amazed," Josh said smiling at the young girl.

Josh's pov

What the hell am I doing?
Am I falling for a fifteen year old?
No it can't be.
Maybe it's just because we didn't have a lot of information about each other.
We are getting to know the other.
Maybe it's just my imagination.
Yeah definitely.

It was a little later and now everyone was at a park just taking a walk.
Josh, Maya, Andrew, Jasmine and a lot of other kids who were part of the group were just taking a stroll and stopped for a second.
Josh and Maya were sitting in a bench each drinking a strawberry smoothie.

"This day has been crazy," Josh said and Maya looked at her watch.
"It's barely twelve. The day has barely began," Maya said.
"Okay what you do in a day then? Looks like you have a busy life if you call this nothing," Josh said.
"Nothing much," Maya said and heard music at a point of the park or actually right in front of them.
"Do you dance? It's hip hop," Jasmine said.
"Yeah I do," Maya said.
"Lets go," Jasmine said before grabbing Maya's hand.

They move to the centre of the park and Maya first took a second so the music could actually sink in.
She gave Josh one look before she went on with dancing.

Josh's pov

She definitely knew how to keep a guy intertained.
Skating like a pro and dancing like she has been doing it for years.
It was something between hip hop and kinda jazz.
But she certainly did know how to move.

The song stopped and Maya laughed.
She can't remember when was the last time she had so much fun.
She and Jasmine high fived each other before she sat down next to Josh.

"Professionally skating and dancing like a pro. Anymore secrets?" Josh asked.
"A lot," Maya said.
"I don't think I've ever met anyone like you. A girl who hip hops and skates like a pro? No I haven't met a girl like that yet," Josh said.
"First for everyone," Maya said.
