On the day Visara was crowned, the leaders of all the races gathered. In her throne room, before the current castle was built, Visara sat on a simple wooden throne. Within the hall, all of Visara's human allies were gathered.

The Centaurs were the first to enter the throne room. The Centaur leader and his closest soldiers all walked in and bowed before their new queen. She stood and walked toward where they were bowed. They looked up at her, the leader taking her hands in his.

"My Queen," it is reported he said. "We pledge ourselves to you. We are creatures of Vivelle. We are Vivelle's loyal servants. To honour your rule, we will give you a gift. A gift that will serve you so you can serve us." Visara held out her hand and the leader took it and a knife. He cut himself and with his blood, he made a band around the wrist of the Queen.

"My Queen. We, the Centaurs gift you some of our magic. Magic that you can use to serve Vivelle. To protect us. To help us. To keep us from another war. With you as our leader and bearer of such power, Vivelle shall never fall again into bloodshed. From now on, this power you have will bring all the races together. We shall be united." He pauses and takes a deep breath.

"We, the centaurs, are honoured to be the first to present you with this gift. So, our Queen, here is our gift to you. We give to you a part of our magic. With this gift, you will be able to understand the science behind the plants of this world to the same depths as a centaur. With this gift, may you always understand how to make even the most complicated of potions for healing, poisons and whatever concoctions you desire. We also gift to you our ability to see the paths our prey has taken. So that whoever may flee from you, you will be able to hunt and see the paths they have taken. Our final gift is the ability to move the earth so the ground will shudder when you are enraged." She looked down on him and nodded. He finished with the magical words of an ancient, godly tongue. The words of one of the Three Spells left by the Gods. The Gift. With those words, the blood around her wrist glowed gold and magic flowed from the Centaur Lord into the Queen.

~The History of Visara

Three Years Ago:

"I wish we could be in there," Rayana sighs. I nod my head, feeling frustrated at the whole thing.

"What a crazy morning," Shaelyn chuckles. "The stories about the Lupine are so..." she frowns thinking of the correct words. "Overdramatic," she finally replies. I let out a snort.

"Yeah," I reply and shake my head.

"I dread to think of how father is probably offending them now," Cordelia says to us.

"Me too," Ray sighs.

"I guess we will find out later," I tell them. "But I think I need to get rid of some of my frustrations. I'm going to find Fallon and see if she wants to spar. Want to join us?" I ask the girls.

"No thanks," Cordelia replies.

"Yeah, we are going to gossip more about the events of this morning," Shaelyn chuckles. I laugh and roll my eyes. They give me a little wave and walk off in the other direction, chatting to each other and giggling. I watch them disappear, a small smile on my face. Shaking my head, I turn and go and find Fallon. She is in her room and already changing for combat training.

"I was just going to ask you if you wanted to train," I say to her.

"Well hurry up," she replies and throws me some of her spares. She helps me out of the ridiculous back dress before I begin to change into our training uniform. I don't really want to wear more black. However, I feel oddly refreshed when I am changed. The black trousers are tight, but lose enough to allow a full range of movement. The black top is long-sleeved with a little V for the neckline. Over top, I wear a leather vest. Around the waist of the vest is a belt where my sword is attached to. On my feet, are sleek leather boots.
