A Promise you've yet to Keep

Yet.

One word is all it took to change everything in my world.

You went from a million miles away to right in front of me,
in
one
word.

Yet.

You went from an impossibility,
to within my grasp,
with
one
little
word,

and my heart went from empty and broken to aching for you.
Because you went from not being an option,
to something I just have to hold out for.

And believe me I can hold out
for you.

For this.

For us.

Yet.

I'm waiting for you.
And I will till the day I die if that's what you want from me.

In one word you changed my whole world.
But in one more word it could all come crashing down.

Yet,

I'm still going to walk this razors edge for you.

And risk my

whole

heart,

Life,

Breath,

Happiness.

For you,

And a yet that turns into a yes.
