Jin had just finished his lesson and was quickly rushing to his fourth lesson before lunch with his best friend Yoongi.
"Aye, 'course it's raining when we have to go outside to switch buildings." Jin chuckled as he looked at Yoongi's face.  It displayed nothing but distaste for the situation before him, he hated water, in any form. Rain, puddles, the sea, swimming pools, all of it.

Jin grinned, happy as always nudging the younger with a nod to suggest they get going. They both tugged their hoods up and darted across the grounds, shoes slapping on the wet concrete causing water to splash on their trousers. Jin wasn't surprised to hear Yoongi grumbling to himself and rolled his eyes with a smile as they entered the practical block, which was nearly empty due to their slow pace.

They were walking along happily chattering when Yoongi cut him off midsentence.
"Hey, isn't that Aiko?" Yoongi asked gesturing towards a girl sat on a bench with her face hidden in her hands, her long black hair falling around her. Jin's heart sank. He recognised her right away. Who wouldn't recognise their own girlfriend?

"Shit." Jin cursed handing Yoongi his books quickly as he ran over to Aiko and knelt down in front of her, gently taking her hands in his pulling them away from her face. She'd been crying and there was no doubt in his mind it was because someone had said something horrid to her.

She had Heterochromia and Vitiligo, causing her to have one brown eye whilst the other was a striking blue and a patch of discoloured skin on the right of her forehead that travelled into her scalp giving her a brilliant streak of white through her long dark hair. Jin thought she was absolutely stunning, Aiko, however, was an easy target for bullies.

It didn't matter how many times Jin told her she was beautiful it went in one ear and out the other.
"What happened bubs?" Jin asked gently giving Aiko's hands a little shake to get her to look at him properly. She gave a large sniff to control her tears followed by a few deep breaths as Yoongi made it over to sit next to her, placing a comforting arm around her shoulder. Aiko began to explain that she'd just had a bad day and someone slapped her beaker out of her hands causing her to spill its contents in science.

"Oh fuck! What was in the beaker? Are you hurt?" Yoongi asked as Jin's thumbs rubbed soothing circles onto Aiko's hands. Aiko shook her head.
"No, I just got a little burn on my leg." She muttered wiping her eyes as Jin let go of her hands to gently moved her leg to see an angry red patch a little above her ankle where the chemical had splashed on her leg as it spilt from the shattered beaker. Jin's heart was breaking for Aiko and he decided enough was enough.
"Someone needs to address the warped concept of beauty in this school." He spat standing up and tugging Aiko up with him scooping her into a big hug as he kissed the top of her head.

"Easy for you to say, the best looking boy in school." Yoongi grinned with a raised eyebrow, sending Jin a silent challenge. How will the best looking boy in school address an issue about looks? Seems a little ironic but Jin had an idea.
"Aiko bubs? Let Yoongi walk you to class, I've got to go see someone." Jin said gently picking up the lock of her white hair and letting it slip through his fingers, a thoughtful look on his face before he turned to leave and jogged off.
