Collective sighs of disappointment echoed throughout the palace walls.

Everyone was not that surprise.

They discussed in hushed voices how the king gave birth to a good-for-nothing princess.

A jack of all trades. Useless. Talentless.

Now, she cant even properly summon a spirit.

Trash.

Leona didnt bother explaining what happened.

She just allowed people to assumed that she didnt summon any spirit.

Why?

Because she just realized the reason for what happened.

The ritual is to summon the first spirit.

And she’s the first summoned spirit.

The spirit of Light.

No one will understand.

Explaining her reincarnation will cause more trouble.

She wont be able to summon the Triad because she would need to summon Nisha first because she’s her second spirit. She can’t do that. Aside from her friends, there are other people who knew about her pet cat. How would she explain Nisha to all these people right? So she just go with the flow and let them assumed and conclude whatever they want.

Damon and Asher were smart enough to easily understand that there is a reason for what happened. But for sure her two bestfriends will demand for an explanation later.

The look of dejection and worry on his brothers’ faces made her a little guilty.

Leona saw a weird expression plastered on her father’s face. But when their eyes met, his expression returned to it’s usual high-and-mighty dignified face.

Leona calmly left the elevated platform at the centre of the altar.

“What happened?” tanong ni Archer pagbalik nya

“Nothing happened.” Biro nya pero walang natawa

Leona heave a sigh.

“This cant be right.” Levinus

“Someone must have sabotaged the magic circle!” Lorenzo

“Maybe you should give it another try..?” Luciano

“There must be an error or a mistake.. You should try again Princess.” Alexander

“I’m tired. I just wanna go home.” Buntong hininga ni Leona

“But—” Levinus

“Just let her be. Just let her rest.” Sabat ni Damon

“Let’s bring her home.” Asher

Nginitian ni Leona ang dalawa.

Sinuklian sya ni Damon ng isang tingin na nagsasabing ‘you-better-explain-yourself-later’..

Sabi nya na nga ba.

Patuloy pa din sa mahinang bulungan ang mga tao.. Para silang mga bubuyog sa tenga ng tatlong prinsepe. Gusto nilang patahimikin ang mga ito.

Natahimik ang lahat noong tumayo ang hari sa kanyang trono.

Naglakbay ang mga mata nito sa apat nyang anak. Subalit wala syang sinabi. Tinalikuran nya na ang lahat at saka umalis.
