June 30th 1992

Harry slowly approached his parents, both of whom looked highly concerned and rushed to him right away

"Harry honey are you alright?" Lily asked, gently cupping Harry's face and studying him carefully

"I'm fine Mum" Harry said through a smile, hugging his mother tightly

Lily wrapped her son into a tight hug, she couldn't believe it when she'd been told that Harry had faced one of the most dangerous wizards of all time and managed to make it out alive

James smiled and ruffled Harry's hair, "lets get you home my little rule breaker"

Harry smiled, "breaking the rules turned out to be a good thing here dad..."

"Son breaking the rules is always a good—"

Lily shot him a hard glance that made him shut up immediately

"Well son other than all this bad stuff how was the year?"

Harry hesitated, that was a complicated question...he had loved many parts and resented other parts

He'd been so happy when he'd landed in Gryffindor and it was even better he was with his two best friends Neville and Ron

Harry also had made a new very good friend this year, her name was Hermione and she was a large reason that he was able to do most of his homework

He'd also been thrilled when he'd made the quidditch team which he made quicidentially by breaking the rules. He was amazed to see that he was the youngest seeker in a century, something which his father was immensely proud of

Though there were also some very low moments, such as every single potions class...professor Snape had it out for him

And not to mention the many times where he was horrified, fighting the troll, searching the forbidden forest, and of course his most recent duel against the evil wizard named Voldemort

Overall it was the best year of his life

"It was awesome dad"

James grinned and put a hand on his son's shoulder, "I'm telling you kiddo watching you play quidditch was the most amazing thing I've ever seen...you really are something special"

Harry blushed, "it was just the broom, and I almsot ate the snitch it was all luck"

Jams scoffed, "that is not true at all Harry, you were amazing...every single game you were amazing"

Harry smiled as he went home with his parents, glad to be back in the safety of his parents but missing the place he felt he belonged
