We walked towards the nightclub the music would blast us every time the bouncer opened the door. Sasha walked in front of everyone with Gideon practically stepping on her feet. I was sandwiched between Mikhail and Victor because apparently I needed that much protection. I roll my eyes to myself as I look over toward Mikhail. He had been pretty silent since the boys brought him back and he had even looked at me. I clenched my jaw and looked away from him feeling frustrated with the fact that I even cared if he looked at me.

Sasha walked us pass the line and straight to the bouncer. He gave her a look and then his eyes drifted over the rest of them. He nodded his head, “The girls are free to enter—“ He unhooks the velvet rope and motions for us to enter. Sasha looks back at me, “Let’s go Lena.” She grabs onto my hand before I can protest and pulls me toward her but Mikhail latches onto my other hand holding me in place, “What do you think you’re doing?” His tone of voice is deadly. Sasha rolls her eyes, “Fine—Calm down.” She let’s go of my hand and turns to the bouncer. They make eye contact and she flashes him her black eyes, “I think you want to let my friends through as well.” He nods his head agreeing and then motions for us all to come through.

Sasha turns back to us her eyes turning normal again, “Happy now?” She spins away and marches into the club Gideon following quickly behind her as if he were her puppy. Victor goes next, “That woman terrifies me…” He mutters as he enters the club. I start to follow behind him but Mikhail keeps me in the same spot. I look over my shoulder at him to see he is staring down at were our hands are joined. I can tell there is something turning in his eyes as if he’s deep in thought and I want to ask him what it is but right now is not the time for a heart to heart.

I squeeze his hand and he looks up our eyes meeting and my breath falls short. His eyes look like he’s just spent hours if not days being tortured, they are tired and distant. He quickly lets go of my hand and looks away from me, “Let’s go.” He says harshly as he glides pass me. I stand there for another moment before heaving a frustrated sigh and following behind him. The music in the club is louder than necessary but the beat is strangely pleasing and primal. I see that Sasha is having a heated “discussion” with Gideon and Victor is just watching them. When Sasha spots me she pushes Gideon out of the way and grabs onto my hand, “Time to dance!” She yells over the music and pulls me towards the dance floor without another word.

I let her pull me through the people towards the center of the dance floor, “Why are we dancing?” I yell to her over the music as we come to a stop. She starts moving her body with the beat of the music, “It’s all part of the plan.” She yells back to me. I nod my head and start to move a little to the beat looking around at the people hesitantly. Sasha’s hands come to rest on my waist and she pulls me close to her which takes me by surprise. She smirks down at me as she continues to dance our bodies somewhat intertwined in a sexual manner. She pushes her hands in on my waist to the beat of the music to get me to move, “Relax Lena. This is the fun part of the plan.” She winks and starts really moving to the music.

I am not sure what she is talking about but I let myself move along with her and before I know it I’m smiling with her as we dance together. It’s like I can forget about everything that has happened to us over the past couple of days. I close my eyes and let myself go for a bit and it feels right. My wolf seems to be completely in sync with my desire to let go at the moment. I can feel her power pulsing beneath my skin but unlike usual I don’t feel anxious about it. I feel completely enthralled by it. I open my eyes and Sasha leans into me bringing her lips extremely close to mine,“It feels good doesn’t it?” Sasha says to me as her eyes turn black.
