As i think these thoughts, I get an idea. What if i test how he feels. I can get drunk and kiss him. If he responds, I have my answer. If he doesn't or pulls away I will know he doesn't feel the same and I can move on.
I tell my friends my plan. They agree with me. They told me they will help me with my plan.
Getting started. I start to drink like no other. I play drinking games left and right. I get so pass drunk, I'm feeling no pain.
I stumble towards Mau and my older brothers. They are laughing at something. As I stumble towards them, they see me.
Zairian runs over towards me, he helps me stand, leaning against him, I glare at Mau. "You!" I growl out, pointing at him.
"You think you can just walts into my life?" I throw my hands in the air.
"Kiel, you're drunk." Mau takes a step towards me.
"No! Don't you dare come near me!" A crowd has started to form.
"Kiel, not in front of the pack." Zairian whispers in my ear.
"Everyone! Out!" He orders. The people scatter out of the house, leaving just my friends, brothers, and Mau.
My friends stand behind me, Zairian holds me up, my other brothers are standing beside Mau.
"Do you not feel the bond?" I hiccup. I don't wait for him to answer.
"Do you not see what you're doing to me?" I take a few steps, stumbling as I do so.
Mau beauiful face looks like a fish out of water. "I'm dying inside because of you!"
"Do you not love me like I love you?" I scream at him, falling to my knees, tears running down my face.
"If you're not going to accept me, please! I beg of you! Reject me!"
The next thing I know, I'm slammed gently against the wall. Mau's body is pressed against mine. My feet hangs off the floor.
"I'll never reject you!" He growls out, he then turns and walks towards the door.
My body slides down the wall to the floor. I watch his back as he walks towards me. "I wish I had the strength to reject you!"
He doesn't stop just keeps walking. I sit on the floor with tears running down my cheeks.
I get up on wobbly legs. Stumbling towards the door. When I'm out of the door, I take off running towards the woods.
Passing the tree line. I climb up a tree to loose my scent on the ground. I jump from tree to tree, grabbing onto branches and swinging myself onto the branch.
I do this until I get to the lake and waterfall. The tree line goes all the way to the lake. Jumping into the lake. I swim behind the waterfall.
There's a cave behind the waterfall, but you have to swim beneath the water into a opening to get to the cave.
I do this, braking the surface of the water. Climbing out of the pool, I lay on the rock. Curling into myself into a fetal position, letting my sobs out.
I guess he really doesn't love me.
